When Lesser Force Fails: Who Gets a Last Resort in Times Square? What we learned yesterday

[Grimscale]

It won't happen without utilizing the maximum force specified by Article II, Section 2, Clause 1:

The President shall be Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy of the United States, and of the Militia of the several States, when called into the actual Service of the United States; he may require the Opinion, in writing, of the principal Officer in each of the executive Departments, upon any Subject relating to the Duties of their respective Offices, and he shall have Power to grant Reprieves and Pardons for Offences against the United States, except in Cases of Impeachment.

Martial law can be validly and constitutionally established

Expecting the government to overthrow the government?
That's an exercise in futility.

As we've seen the last year and a half the government has no interest in actually cleaning its own house, only talking about it to drum up votes.
Even low hanging fruit (*cough* jumbo james fraud *cough*) is ultimately ignored after the photo op.

[CaseHardened]

The legal avenues for cleaning house are multiple.

Up to and during the Civil War many members were removed simply for being disloyal to the Union.

Not only does this remove their vote, it sends a stern message to those who wish to maintain their generous sinecure.

I believe the vast majority of American Citizens are anxious for a major housecleaning, and removal of anti-american politicians.

And for cleaning the voter rolls.

As an aside, at the Primary Last week I was given TWO BALLOTS. And last year I had voted alone, in the afternoon. Then later took the family in for everyone else to vote. Aye, you guessed it: I was given yet another Ballot.

These errors were innocent but real. And an indication on how very sloppy our voting system is.

But many "errors" are neither innocent nor uncommon.

From the stolen election of 2020 there are videos of Democrat Operatives hauling boxes of pre-filled ballots out from under the tables in Georga. No arrests; no repercussions.

I have no idea what people are discussing here. lol Yeah I get it, article 35. Plenty in it to trip you up too. So read it again.

It's not like this lady was an expert practitioner in knife fighting or possessed cat like reflexes and MMA skills to take out 7 cops in seconds.

She just walked up people and stabbed them when they weren't looking. That can happen to all you "John Wick" lead-slingers. Now, If I saw her waddling towards me in Time Square, I clearly would have had plenty of time to workout the after math in my head, of using my CCW, if I decided to draw and shoot. I might just simply arrive at tripping her fat ass, sending her to the ground and then punt her head for the extra point. Watching that video, I thought it was in slow motion. Very concerning that the officer shot with the back drop of citizens and others. But it had a happy ending anyway. Although very risky and it likely could have been handled better.

"Handled Better"

And still we have no solid information as to the Immigration Status of her worthless clan.

Deport first; ask questions later.

I'm telling you, that walk was ninja all over it. The guy was lucky he got a shot or three off!
We need more gone and less repeat offenders and or housing them. Next someone will tell me you can strangle your 3 kids and get away with it.

The Clancy Case is disgusting.

Of course, understanding how she thought murdering her children would improve anything, is difficult to comprehend.

But innocent that I be, I don't even undertand how Joe Biden got off showering naked with his 9-year-old daughter. Though truth be told, that could be a Wedding Night Tradition for the Muslims we welcome in.

Why didn't the cops just shoot her in the hand?

Origin of the Phrase

• • Robert H. Jackson: The exact phrase was coined by Supreme Court Justice Robert H. Jackson in his dissenting opinion in the 1949 case Terminiello v. Chicago, where he warned against converting the Bill of Rights into a "suicide pact" by denying courts and officials practical wisdom in maintaining public order. [1, 2]
  • Arthur Goldberg: Justice Arthur Goldberg popularized the phrasing further in the 1963 Supreme Court case Kennedy v. Mendoza-Martinez, writing that while the Constitution protects individual rights, "it is not a suicide pact". [1]
  • Historical Roots: The underlying sentiment is often traced back to Abraham Lincoln's defense of suspending habeas corpus during the Civil War, arguing that breaking a specific law might be necessary to save the nation as a whole.
