US military preparing for 90 days of “grid down” at all bases

[C3D]

This should be an ominous warning sign to us. The US military is now provisioning all military facilities for 90 days of operation without electric grid or civil services.

It’s a great idea, but what classified analysis is making this a priority? Reminds me when the Pentagon spent $900m moving the communications arrays at Cheyenne Mountain back underground to defend against EMP.

Hopefully this is just a new readiness initiative and not based on a perceived threat.

They should have had these plans ready to go at any time in the past.

Everyone needs to be prepping ...It could be very easy for a country to descend into chaos ....Look to Europe in the next few months. It does not hurt to buy a few extras every week . I had a relative live in a small city During Covid He could not buy any toilet paper ... He was down to one roll and ordered it on Amazon ...It was not a wake up call for me ... But it was for him .

[FP1201]

I'm not saying nothing is happening or going on, but I haven't seen or heard anything to support anything outside normal operations.
Sadly, Fort Drum had a Steam Co-Generation Electric Plant, but it was shut down a couple years ago; it was a boon to the local Woodsmen Community as it burned wood chips for fuel, The Hydro-Electric Plants in nearby Watertown are headed towards shut-down as their contract to supply the Grid is expiring, they've installed several hundred acres of Solar Panels, but that energy supposedly goes elsewhere either Canada or NYC...our electricity/gas bills like everyone else's have doubled even tripled, and that cunt and her green energy pals want us to re-elect them...my real thoughts on this might get me banned.

That reminds me, I need a good water purifier. Any good recommendations?

ohhh noo, Im sure if there were a real threat they would let us all know

Yeah, Im kina thinking why wouldnt you have provisions for 90 days on hand by requirement?

[holdover]

if those pesky Iranians shut down the grid, I suppose will have to attack them .

If anything does happen , Im going to call it a false flag prior to it even happening , because thats the way these fucktards roll

Yeah, got one of those. Its my emergency water supply, it needs filtering and boiling.

I mean heck those fun loving Mormons are recommending 90 days of regular chow, plus more emergency food beyond that . . .

I can't really speak for other Military installations, but I have spent the last 39 years in the shadow of or serving on Fort Drum: there's always a preparedness and ability to function in a crisis, it may become arduous, spartan, even stagnate but they will survive.
Every year the Budget runs out on 30 September and often enough there isn't another Federal Budget in place, so "the money" is shut off sans a few absolute emergency accounts preloaded with funds...Can you imagine what would happen if the Federal Government in its entirety followed the Laws about not spending money you don't have in the account?

[Drinkthekoolaid]

They should have already had this capability.
But, doing it now is better than ignoring it.

And if the military and government are preparing, you should be too.

Ignore what the government tells you, and watch what they are doing.

We could hunker down for 90 days here far better than most.

I do have to admit that the diet would lose a lot of it's variety though.

I have had a lot of LDS #10 cans of dry goods like, macaroni, carrots, apple slices, flour in my basement long enough to start changing them out.

Oh they have the money, but they give it to other governments, one of my pet peeves

While I do not accept the tenants of LDS, I do appreciate their seemingly good and wholesome outward appearance (no swearing, R rated movies, modest dress, etc.) their position on provisioning heavily and well in advance...can't fault people for that, other things yes.

Concerning.

It;'s almost like we started something.. Hmmm.

It could be a host of things but Im sure we are implementing whatever crisis awaits.

Maybe COVID 2.0 isn’t a virus. It’s an AI-driven shutdown they pin on a random patsy so only the elites and government keep the tools.

Those military posts better keep a shit ton of concertina wire on hand, The average American can't do ninety hours of austerity, let alone feed themselves and when the millions of them see the lights on, well that conjures up a fairly hellish visage.

Trump's got this right Maga? Peace President is at the helm!

This is just the excuse they needed to isolate themselves off the civilian electrical grid infrastructure. Now that they are independent of the civilian electrical infrastructure, they won't give a fuck what happens to it. They have no vested stake in it.

I wonder how many of us could survive for 90 days (or longer) with what we have right now? No electricity, no gas stations, no grocery stores, and no internet? I suppose it depends on the season. Winter time would be pretty bad.

Hold on there. I didn't say I wouldn't have electricity. Just no grid

Off grid capable solar and an electric car makes the whole "no gas" thing kinda less of a big deal too.

After a week or so the wife would start getting real grumpy when she has to drink her coffee without fresh cream though.

most of us need to lose weight anyways.
