My friend you are spot on with your analysis ... I have made it known on this forum I am a prepper. . My lifestyle growing up was vastly different than many of you reading this. Grew up poor and lived on a small farm . While many of my classmates in school played ball some ran around on minibikes I was stacking hay and picking potato's ... Pitching manure. .... I have walked away with a lot of knowledge that helps me in my prepping endeavor . I looked for a wife that shares many of my values. . Co-operative Extension holds on occasion a 3 day food preservation class around the state. I had a pressure canner that my wife was scared to use . We both signed up for the 3 day class and now she is comfortable using it. .. She said we don';t do much together ... We have taken some cooking classes. ... Taught by professional cooks. ( a bit pricey ) . She could cook pretty good before we went . She enjoys taking the classes. ... We just take the cooking to a little bit higher level. The house we live in is a old farmhouse It does have a cistern That I would only use to flush the toilet if we had to . Have our own wells A few drilled and one dug . We also have a solid grain mill It is all cast iron ... weighs a ton. . For some reason the wife will not use it . but we do have a few hundred pounds of wheat berries. stored away. I have in the past made sourdough bread . My grandparents had a garden bigger than many lawns. . This last year I had planted (hired ) fruit trees. This is a step by step process to become more self sufficient .
The main point is this folks .... . If one apply s themselves... One can learn to preserve food ... Learn to cook Learn to garden . Become more self sufficient . Covid was a wake up call for many people . If one has a lawn plant a few fruit trees . I had family in Germany during and after WW2.
They made it to the American section and were sponsored to come to this country. The average German after the war survived on around 1000 calories ( from my reading ) This went on many years. If one lived in the country and could raise their own food you did better. . Except in the Russian sector. They always took half of what everyone produced.

I suspect they are talking about useing Nukes in Iran. Consider that one Isreali general refused an order pertaining to an attack on Iran, and the US just fired a general accused of leaking information to the press in the same week.
we have talk about grid down incident, and a 90 day supply of provisions , storys about the military useing MOAB bombs , and imminent attack on Iran soon. the fact that we dont have the size of army required to invade Iran,and it starts to look suspicious that they might be considering using nukes
There also may be a constitutional crisis if we go to war without congressional approval , if the dems get in they will charge trump . If they can get Iran to attack Israel first they might get a pass
