Re-cert

[Brawny71]

I have an Oneida county permit and also recertify every 3 years or whatever it is

My question is regarding my actual permit from Oneida - that shows an expiry of 11/1/2023 - I have done the online recertification ever since then

How do I obtain an updated permit with a new expiry date

I just don’t want some cop pulling me over and going jihad because my permit seems to be 3 years out of date - even though I have fully recertified online?

I would go to their office with a print out of you recert and ask the question. Oneida County New York Pistol Permit | Oneida County

Your county is one of the few who have put an expiration date on it. Makes me thing they lean left. You jumped through their hoops and most likely will be allowed to pay a fee for a reprint.

I print a copy of my recert and keep it with my permit.

My wife and I both recert at the same time and print a copy to keep in our file. Always pays to cover your ass.
