IMO this Korean leader and his gang are better dead than alive no doubt. But like Sadam Hussein
is not just a matter of simply going medieval on them, but what is going to be a successfully
long term strategy for the region. That is a much bigger problem than fumigating their military.

Syria has not directly attacked the US.
It is time for the US to take a backseat to much of what is happening around the world. Other Countries do not care, why the hell should we?

In theory yes we should mind our own business. However nature abhors a vacuum and in our absence something far worse could replace us. So we need to extricate ourselves carefully and maintain the best intelligence assets.
That said, our intelligence agencies seem less than intelligent and not exactly on the side of the American taxpayers. Dismantling them is tricky since they’ll fight dirty to maintain their budgets and power.
Trump is probably our last attempt at doing this by working within the system and it is not going well. Get used to the status quo as we turn into Brazil with a quasi-socialist government and a stratified society. (That’s the best case scenario.)

I have a feeling that if certain people knew if Kim was actually planning something, they would take him out themselves. Read: chinese "allies" of his, who's last thing they want is a 20th century style "big" war to rock the global economic boat. Of couse this view isn't terribly exciting and wouldn't make good "bleeds = leads" news airtime.
