He was released last night around dinner time.
Don’t always trust the media. From what I saw they said he’d be in about 24 hours it was less. I’m guessing all flesh wounds. Haven’t asked yet. I’ll know more later. I’m very close with one of his old partners and I should know more later. I personally know the family and many involved. He lives very close to me. In fact he was released prior to the officer that had the broken wrist. Yes it’s amazing how efficient our hospitals are.

Yes he’s young and in good shape and good health. He is a tough man with great spirits.

The rounds were placed just right and he was well protected from the man upstairs that day. Could have easily went another route.

The rounds did go through a wall so the velocity was slowed and likely saved his ass.

Also I’ve to hear our council just voted to make the cops pay for their own bulletproof vests. I hope they backtrack on that now as the sit behind their desks.

Flynn’s kind of an asshole. He’s pissed me off on many occasions. Remember they found guns in the home that were not used in the shooting. My understanding is it was the riffles used to shoot at and shoot the cop. Thay may not be 100% accurate. They were still piecing things together.

Yes that’s what I heard and he got too close to the other guys car so he shot him. Pretty fucked up if you ask me.

I have no clue but that guy who he shot looks like he has some sort of developmental disability.

I heard the officer shot is having a hard time sitting down. Getting shot in the ass will do that to you. He’s in good spirits though.

I’m thinking of having a cookout for all the cops in my town. I know many of them well and I think they would come. Is that a stupid idea. Make a big pan of potatoes, cook dogs and sausages and just say come by anytime and grab what you want. End of the night have the guys take whatever I cooked back to the station for the night shifters. They are working 12 hours days 7am to 7pm.

Got some more details.
the civilian shot and killed was shot with an unregistered 80% glock pistol.
He had many Ar’s with 30 round mags.
I know I don’t have an issue with this either but they are illegal so I mention it.
he had guns at 3 houses, and 80% glock pistols and or an AR at every window.
He had multiple pressure cooker bombs in process, had to go bags packed and ready to go, he had body armor in the house and with him. He also had a suicide attack note prepped and ready to go.

The person I spoke with was glad it happened this way and said if this didn’t happen they fear what came next would have been much worse. This person was shot at so that means something to me.
I know many of the items are not alarming alone but the bombs, the way things were laid out, and the suicide attack note is what puts this all together and makes it alarming to me. Definitely sounds like a domestic homegrown terrorist.

Good. I was just worried they wouldn’t come. I’ll talk with my wife and get it planned out. Most guys in my town are good people that care about the city and all involved. We had two shitty cops. One was charged and convicted and the other was just an old timer stuck in his ways and retired.

Not trying to cost you a shit ton of cash or anything, but you might be able to put together a huge "Thanks to the Cops" event. Get the City to donat a shelter or two in Veterans park and get others involved.

Or, you could keep it simple like you first stated.
