China Amassing “Tens-of-Thousands” of Troops in Canada

If the Chinese army looks like an Asian-Canadian girl scout troop, I'm not worried.

What about going dark? How do you go dark? Your cell phone will betray you. Edward Snowden kept his cell phone in a microwave. Does that work?
I don't know if it is possible to erase a digital footprint. Everything from your cell phone to your credit cards to your online payments and on and on and on. I have a 100% steel trash can on my list of things to get as a quick faraday cage and hopefully prevent the signals from making contact. Your car is becoming just like your cell phone, The information that WAZE displays is pretty cool by also frightening.

They also have troop training in Mexico.

I can't see China sending in troops for an invasion. It would start a nuclear war. No way we would not shoot off a full set of nukes at China. Unless the destabilize the USA so badly we don't notice? Doesn't seem plausible to me. What MIGHT happen with Biden is if the dems win GA senate seats then first the packing of the courts HAS to be done. Then nothing stops them from adding DC and Puerto Rico as states. Then the 2nd amendment as the right for the individual to own a gun would be GONE. The first amendment severally restricted. then some states would want to leave the union. Now what would Biden do to stop that? Not sure.

Now if the senate seats are held in GA then Biden cant really get too much destruction done. No added states,. Sure he will use executive order for gun control but the courts will strike it down. He will push green deal (fossil fuel TAXES, BIG taxes) but it will stall in the senate. So my worry is only if the dems take the GA senate seats which we will know soon enough.

After the stunt McConnell is pulling in the senate right now, you can bet your ass the dems will take the senate.

Theoretically, I could see civil war hold over the US, then the Democrats ask China for their military assistance to ”quell” the insurrection in the US since they already have boots on the ground doing “training” exercises in North America and mobilizing a UN peace keeping army takes too long. China responds that they conveniently have troops in Canada, Mexico and use their impromptu intelligence base in Texas close to the US Air Force base to coordinate their assistance. Chinese army mobilizes their troops from Mexico to Texas and Democrats allow them to mobilize to different parts of the country using the Air Force base. Democrats and China wipes out all the ”Proud Boys” in one fell swoop and they never again become a nuisance to the Democrats moving forward since their all dead (Anyone wearing Multicam is eliminated). Democrats in return allows China to setup a permanent base in Texas.

All just theoretical conjecture though.

It's getting interesting. I personally see multiple possible scenarios where things can go off the rails quickly.

How about this, what if biden is sworn in and Dems take senate too. They begin radical legislation. A few states band together in a loose Alliance decide they're not going to be a part of it and secede.

At the very least this is a really cool movie idea. Of course, with Hollywood bowing to China it would never get made.

They won't do it with troops. They'll do it through technological and economic controls. You'll still be an American. There will still be false political figures that continue to do nothing that get voted into power. However...

• Banks backed by Chinese investors won't allow you to have an account or credit card if you speak out
• You won't be able to buy goods from Chinese owned businesses
• Jobs won't hire you cause you're on a anti-Chinese blacklist

Think about it. They don't need troops. They just need control measures via private industry to control us.

We've already seen this happen to some degree with some games on the Steam store that have been pressured to take their games down because they were critical of the Chinese government. They're already applying pressure.

On February 21, 2019, two days after the game's release, players discovered a fulu talisman decorating a wall in the game contained the words "Xi Jinping Winnie the Pooh" (Chinese: 習近平小熊維尼) in Chinese seal script, referencing a recent Chinese internet meme that compared the Chinese general secretary to the Disney character. Also on the talisman were the transcribed words "ní ma bā qì" (呢嘛叭唭), which sounds similar to "nǐ mā bā qī" (你媽八七) in Mandarin. "你媽" means "your mother (is a)"; and "八七" (peh tshit) sounds similar to "白痴" (pe̍h-tshi, means "moron") in Taiwanese Hokkien. Taken together, this was interpreted by Chinese gamers as an insult to the Chinese leader. As a result, Devotion was heavily review bombed by Chinese gamers on Steam, and the game went from having "Overwhelmingly Positive" reviews overall to being "Mostly Negative".[13] Red Candle Games responded by patching out the offending art material, replacing it with a talisman that reads "Happy New Year" (恭賀新禧), explaining that the original talisman was a placeholder that was supposed to be replaced, and apologizing for the oversight. Nevertheless, other aspects of the game were analyzed as insults to China, leading to the game being removed from Steam in China on February 23. Publishers Indievent and Winking Skywalker cut ties with Red Candle Games, with Red Candle Games being liable for their losses as a result of the controversy.[14] On February 25, Red Candle removed the game from Steam globally to fix technical issues, as well as to confirm that no other hidden messages remain.[15]

Taiwan's Vice Premier Chen Chi-mai spoke out in defense of the game regarding the "easter egg", saying: "Only in countries with democracy and freedom can creation be free from restrictions." Red Candle's Sina Weibo account remains blocked, and posts containing the hashtag #Devotion, which had hundreds of millions of views before the controversy, were hidden by Chinese censors[citation needed]. The episode has raised concerns about the future of the Steam platform in China, which did not gain official approval to operate there but remains accessible with up to 30 million users from China.[1]

In July 2019, the Chinese government revoked the license of Indievent. The official statement from the government stated that the revoking was due to violating relevant laws.[16] Red Candle Games released an apology later in the month stating that they have no plans to re-release Devotion in the near term in order "to prevent unnecessary misconception", but would reconsider re-releasing the game in the future if "the public would be willing to view this game rationally".[17]

In June 2020, Red Candle announced that it would begin running pre-orders for a physical edition of the game, available only in Taiwan from June 8 to 15.[18]

On December 16, 2020, Red Candle Games and GOG.com announced that the game would be available on GOG's store on December 18. However, a few hours later, GOG issued a statement on Twitter[19] that "after receiving many messages from gamers," they had decided not to move forward with the release.[20] The statement rapidly garnered thousands of comments and retweets, the majority of which came from fans who were angered to see the store cancelling the release.[21]

I believe our worst case scenario is something like Argentina saw a while ago. This book is required reading for all americans in my opinion.

Read the book a few years ago. Good read.

[GOPerfect]

I still do not believe that even a decent amount of Americans have any clue. I read many posts on this forum and I do not think enough here have a real idea of what is coming....

[BerettaGuy]

Here is my opinion and I'm sticking to it.
In the current situation ie: Biden ruling like a totalitarian firing off executive orders like a printing machine.
Appointing Janet Yellen to the FED! (really)
A dysfunctional Congress obsessed with Trump.
The Reddit revolutionaries on the verge of causing a banking crisis by exposing the Central Bank is broken.
We are headed for a financial collapse. The Middle Class is about to be wiped out.
The constitution is being trashed by private companies and banks. Twitter alternatives are being shut down and banks are refusing to service companies based on politics.
Washington DC is an armed camp for a reason. Not the fake ass narrative they talk about on CNN.
Times are changing right under our noses and we are entering a dangerous time. Nothing is currently running to distract us so when the collapse in the market wipes out the pensions IRA's and 401Ks of the middle class. It ain't gonna be pretty. Take a look at what is happening in Texas with a snowstorm. Now throw in the grid being shut down to vast areas. Let's just hope (for us in Western New York) that when this collapse comes it waits until spring, but I have a feeling that we are weeks away.
The leading indicator is what is happening now with Silver.
ps. I would not surprise me that "boomers" will be viewed as an enemy and the cause of the disaster. If you are a boomer, you could be the target of soyboy, gender-confused, binary, skinny jean wearing, eunuchs wearing vagina hats. So for the first time in your life, start getting mentally prepared for things you will have to do to protect your family from harm to removing an opposing force. Since the 1940's the progressives have systematically destroyed each and every value that made Americans, Americans. There are little to none left for them to destroy except money.

im trying to get enough together for a minimum of 6 weeks, we can probably stretch it out to 8 weeks

Ammo ?

As much as you think you can realistically deliver before you are neutralized.

In a urban neighborhood, with no family members that can be used as backup, and neighbors who have their heads deep in the sand (like my situation), not very long.

My best case scenario is taking out more of them than they of me.

Hopefully God decides this scenario will not occur.

All of it.

And a good plan to deal with running out.

Anyone who thinks they can prep their way *through* what's coming is wrong.

All you can do is prep yourself a headstart.

As for your questions and statements... In the area of ammo, one can only carry and haul so much. If you are going to stock ammo like I and others do, have a plan to move it to a safe location. Ammo can be rather heavy.

I will be wrong, but if shit really hits the fan, I hope that we are not forced to take to killings in the streets.

As for god, whatever god one follows, it almost seems like they (he) has given up on humanity. Again, I hope I am wrong on that one as well. There are signs that I believe are being shown to us, but we as a whole are ignoring all of these signs....

This cold snap in Texas is a great reason to prep. They got caught, at no fault of their own, with their pants down and the stores quite empty.

Not all people need years worth of food, but damn, you should be able to feed your family well for a couple of weeks. In NY State, there is a huge chance of horrible snow. Get snowed in, gotta eat and maintain some comfort. Not a difficult task.

We're actually having a hard time whittling our food supply down before the move.

Sure we buy some perishable items like eggs and milk on a regular basis, but we can live without them easily enough.

I think a years preps (for food) are probably excessive, and a couple weeks is dangerously little.

You should have enough preps to ride through any reasonable local SHTF event completely autonomously. As in your family should be OK for a few weeks if the rest of civilization ceased to exist.

Due to preparations for the move, my family is entering into a dangerous area where that won't be true for us, and that makes me nervous.

But for any widespread disaster that lasts more than a few weeks, the world won't ever return to the way it was. Your preps should be geared toward giving you a headstart in the new world, not surviving until the old one comes back (it never will).

Also keep in mind if you are one of the most challenging targets on your street, 95% of theives/looters/arsonists etc will move along to find an easier target.

It's the 5% that will be willing to risk trying to take what you have that's worth defending. They won't know what you have but in their feeble minds will assume you have food, treasure, water, resources, guns, ammo, women that they are entitled to and are willing to riski trying to take. That's how much ammo you need in your situation IMO.

If you even have a few hundred rounds, some pre loaded mag changes you can hold your own until some lackey gets told to Molotov cocktail your house because they can't get you out of it

Based on @GOPerfect posts in the “what did you get today thread” very soon. But in all seriousness SHTF is probably closer than we think. I’d say before the next presidential election.
