This is so weird, I have disabled the secondary backup. Investigating again tomorrow. Sorry guys! I'm not as think as you dumb I am.

Okay should be good now, for real this time. This was a secondary backup that I setup which really wasn't needed, so I disabled it all together.

Issue resolved!! (I hope). Should be all set on Saturday's now. Backups were running Saturday morning (despite showing Sunday night) which was slowing down the site. Now they run Monday at 3AM. Sorry about all that.
