This all makes me sick. I’m not totally against people from this community but I can tell you I deal with them professionally and they are the dirtiest group of people I have ever come across. Tons of issues with them, then they ignore, then they try to get out of it, then they put their wives names on the business, then they try to bribe. My wife wanted to go to one of their restaurants and I said no way never. They never have soap in the bathroom.

What I have learned about non profits is they are against profits and they make a healthy profits it’s just at the end of the year they spend it all to make them that.
There is a college not far from me who installed a hand laid stone wall with pillars around their entire campus. It’s not for security because it’s about three feet tall. I’ll bet the cost was in the millions. Students paid for this crap. Did it increase education? Nope, I’ll bet it didn’t increase enrollments either. It sure looks nice but wasn’t needed.
The issue is this gives non profits a leg up in the negotiations because they will know what the high bid is. So say they have a $20 million dollar property and they bid 2 million and a private firm comes in and bids 12 million. They can then say 12.1 million. That 2 million bid was ridiculously low and could simply be used as a place holder to obtain property at an undervaluation. I’m not sure how this is legal or how it could ever hold up in court.

Yes, the NYC (COPA) did pass the NYC Council, but outgoing Mayor Eric Adams vetoed it in late December 2025;


The new mayor said it is the first thing that he will sign.

I’d agree if it would work. These people are too stupid to realize success and failure. All they seem to care about is receiving free government handouts.
