US oil reserves are running dangerously low:

The Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) fell -6.1 million barrels last week, to 298.7 million barrels, dropping below 300 million for the first time since January 1983.

This marks the largest weekly drawdown in nearly 2 months and brings the SPR to its lowest level in more than 43 years.

The latest drawdown also accelerated the recent depletion, after the SPR fell by just -2.8 million barrels the previous week.

Since the start of the Iran war, the US has been drawing heavily on its strategic reserves to help offset disruptions to global oil supplies and prevent further pressure on crude prices.

The SPR is now approaching the estimated 250-300 million barrel operational minimum, below which extracting oil becomes increasingly difficult.

At the current pace of withdrawals, the reserve could reach that range within weeks.

The US is running out of strategic oil to release.

Amazing? whats amazing is your utter bullshit. Go ahead and name the attacks against US forces that required a justified response of such magnitude .

when Did this shit happen? If you have to go back more than a year , you have have no ability to judge anything . your bias is so fucking intense its laughable , Isreal fired the first shot in this war period . sure they've been enemy's forever, but it was Israel that struck Iran first . stop pretending it didnt happen and dont go back to the middle fucking ages to justify it. you and the Israelites hates every Muslim . if they were born they are guilty . your credibility is shot . you cant except the truth, all you can do is make excuses why they have to kill everyone

Doesn't matter what I say, nothing will satisfy you. You're irrational about this.

I think even if Iran had finished their nuke and used it on Tel Aviv you'd still be saying "them jews had it coming".

Guess we are done now?. lol

NEW: President Trump says the U.S. "will keep" the Strait of Hormuz, as it now has "total control" of the critical waterway.

Trump says there is nothing Iran can do about the U.S. "WALL OF STEEL" blockade in the Strait.

"They have no Navy, they have no Air Force, their remaining soldiers are unpaid, the IRGC is decimated and fleeing, and their “Leadership” is uncertain, at best!"

"Iran is all talk and no action."

Levein is a retard or working in the best interest of Isreal . Karg Island is meaningless. Iran cant move ships through the straights because we have an embargo he forgot about . Iran has been economically crippled they wont be a threat to Israel for years to come, (outside of missiles )

Now that we control the straight I wonder if our best allie is going to launch a ground war against Iran. Love to see that , but its never gonna happen .

Well, I'm lost. I no longer understand what is going on with
iran, let alone what is going on with this line of diversion.
I am getting a major WTF with this administration in general. I'm not tired of winning, but you gotta win.

You never understood, as plainly evident in your posts on the topic.

It's unfortunate it took another middle eastern war for some of you to realize that our commander in chief is leading us off a cliff, but I am glad to see some of you finally rounding the bend on this.

In the last six months this fiasco has resulted in:

1) Loss of life of many Iranian civilians, and I don't feel it's overstepping to say the vast majority of Americans have no problem with the Iranian people. Why would we? How many have hurt us? I've never been hurt by one.

2) Many billions of dollars flushed down the toilet

3) The world has seen that our military is vastly less capable than we all thought it was before this begun. We simply don't have a good answer to $50k suicide drones. Ukraine + Iran have proven that the face of war has changed and not in ways that benefit big, conventional militaries.

4) Our strategic petroleum reserves are at the lowest level in 40+ years

5) Iran's leadership is less agreeable than it was six months ago

6) Iran looks likely to emerge from this more powerful than before, because they have now proven that they can shut down the Strait of Hormuz and nobody can do a damn thing about it

Trump has shat on all our allies so they are not lifting a finger to help, while gas prices sit over $4, and he still after six months has not even said what the real goal of this war was.

As much as I want to disagree with @Blimey above post, a lot of it is accurate.

I don't like it, but it's reality.

The thing I most disagree with is Trump shitting on our allies, I don't think they really have cared about us much in the first place and just use us for their benefits. They were a lot of 1 sided relationships where we're doing the majority of the heavy lifting for others to benefit. I want America first, America only.

I honestly believe this is a complete debacle. I don't think America is any better off or safer, and I think the negatives outweigh the positives.

What Trump has done is forced our "Allies" to reveal their true selves...
It's easy to call someone "Brother" until you're called to task and suddenly they don't want to know you...

Completely agree. Our allies for the most part, suck. They just arrogantly view us as a sugar daddy with major contempt for our successes and culture.
