Yes. This new judge says the removal of the individual mandate means the law is now unconstitutional because it's no longer based on the tax authority of Congress. Federal judge in Texas strikes down ObamaCare It's seems like a pretty weak argument, to me.

Like the law or not, this decision is going to be appealed and I bet it has a good chance of going to the Supreme Court. 5th Circuit is next, though.

I would not be surprised if he voted the way he did partly as a way of signalling to those who opposed him that he's not the kind of person they said he was. Sort of a "see I'm good to women" kind of thing. Whatever he reasoning, I, of course, am glad he voted the way he did.

I did read the whole link. It specifically describes the gun as a "rifle". The video shows an AK-47 with no stock, which might be called a "pistol" but it's still as big as a small rifle and is far to big to put down your pants.

Now, now. I fully acknowledge that *most* liberals are for gun control, but I'm not one of them. I tend to think they are foolish and acting purely out of ignorance and fear when it comes to gun control, and I do my best to educate them. It's a thankless, and mostly fruitless endeavor.

So I got the Tech Sights mounted on the 10/22, as well as replaced the 1" sling swivels with 1.25" and GI sling. The GI sling doesn't really impress me - I think I might stick with the 1907 style in the end, but I'll give the GI sling a few more outings to see if I just need time to get used...
