*sigh*
I read that article, and I've read the posts here, and they sound so familiar. Former Sheriff Clarke complains about what the liberals are doing, yet everything he complains about is something that the conservatives did all throughout Obama's term in office. You guys talk about needing...
Just a warning to anyone who may be thinking about using marijuana if this comes to pass: using it is still grounds under the law to deny you purchases of firearms, as many medical marijuana patients have found to their regret.
I'm getting ready to drive from Texas to Alabama with several guns, so this thread is quite relevant to me. I just bought a couple of lockable, hard carry cases just to be safe. Looks like most of the salient points have already been covered, but I'll leave this link to the NRA page about...
Yes. This new judge says the removal of the individual mandate means the law is now unconstitutional because it's no longer based on the tax authority of Congress.
Federal judge in Texas strikes down ObamaCare
It's seems like a pretty weak argument, to me.
I'd prefer for there to have been a more complete investigation rather than the perfunctory half week the FBI gave it where they didn't even interview the main accuser, but seriously when I first heard about the accusations of "rape" in high school I thought "really, Dems, is this all you got?"...
I would not be surprised if he voted the way he did partly as a way of signalling to those who opposed him that he's not the kind of person they said he was. Sort of a "see I'm good to women" kind of thing.
Whatever he reasoning, I, of course, am glad he voted the way he did.
I did read the whole link. It specifically describes the gun as a "rifle". The video shows an AK-47 with no stock, which might be called a "pistol" but it's still as big as a small rifle and is far to big to put down your pants.
Quite true, but that's why I prefer not to refer to the USSR as "communist". I prefer to call them "Stalinist" instead to emphasize that they really didn't give a crap about what Marx and Engels said.
Now, now. I fully acknowledge that *most* liberals are for gun control, but I'm not one of them. I tend to think they are foolish and acting purely out of ignorance and fear when it comes to gun control, and I do my best to educate them. It's a thankless, and mostly fruitless endeavor.
So I got the Tech Sights mounted on the 10/22, as well as replaced the 1" sling swivels with 1.25" and GI sling. The GI sling doesn't really impress me - I think I might stick with the 1907 style in the end, but I'll give the GI sling a few more outings to see if I just need time to get used...
Complain about the Democrats as you want, but don't accuse them of being Communist for wanting gun control. Karl Marx was a proponent of gun ownership.
Not ragging on your spelling. I'm a terrible typist, myself. I just liked the image of the government issuing shale to people. It tickled my funny bone.
