Multiple News Outlets are reporting the same story, some even word for word.
Is this to prepare the public for deployment of NATO troops or West backing out of conflict after Oreshnik strike...
This is because of geographic nature of the conflict. In most of these cases they simply didn't get the word that the war was over, unlike the wars with a single frontline. Only 21 incidents are recorded per Wikipedia, but the way it is talked about one would think this was happening every other...
Nothing special, this happens in all wars. There were still pockets of German resistance after German surender.
...... and yet there is no record of Japanese women taking up arms to defend their country in numbers similar to Soviets, Yugoslavs, Poles even Germans.
One would be hard pressed to find any side in any war that didn't proclaim it would fight to the last man. The fact is they didn't in WWII or prior wars.
U.S. had a hard time fighting them, Soviets not so much. They were defeated on the battlefield at Khalkhin Gol in 1939 and in Manchuria in 1945. They certainly didn't fight to the last man.

Soviets also forced them to retreat from Lake...
By that time Soviet Army liberated Japanese occupied territories in China, Korea and Mongolia by defeating Japanese Kwantung Army. That was what stopped the slaughter of Chinese, not nuking of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Also without a foothold on the mainland, Japan was cut off from supply of raw...
There are direct quotes from other important military figures, it stands to reason McArthur was of the same mind. In the end this was a political decision by Truman.
Have a ball.

[110]Norman Cousins writes, "When I asked General MacArthur about the decision to drop the bomb, I was surprised to learn he had not even been consulted. What, I asked, would his advice have...
I will go with opinion of these men, who were actually fighting the war.

Dwight D. Eisenhower wrote in his memoir The White House Years:

Japan never attacked U.S. mainland (Hawaii wasn't even a state at the time). By August of 1945 and after Soviet Union entered the war Japan was defeated and not a threat. There was no need to destroy two cities and kill thousands of civilians. Japan wasn't launching missiles or anything at the U.S.
Soviet nuclear weapons were designed and assembled at the secret Arzamas-16 laboratory, near Moscow, and then finished at the KB-11 Installation in the secret city of Sarov:
Arzamas-16
This laboratory was established in 1945 and was similar to Los Alamos. It was led by Igor Kurchatov, who made...
Minsk agreements had nothing to do with nukes.
Ukraine never had nukes to give up. Soviet nuclear arsenal belonged to Russian Federation as Internationally recognized successor of the Soviet Union along with all of the nuclear treaties made by the Soviet Union.
Just a reminder to selective memory crowd. Russia invaded Ukraine after Ukraine refused to abide by signed Minsk agreements and stepped up the shelling of Russian population in Donbas. There were other demands, but that alone justified Russian invasion.
Here is a hint. When information is not disputed by either side, there is something there.
Putin made a statement about this to the whole world and nobody is jumping at the chance to prove him wrong.
Not enough speed to stop Oreshnik
___________________________
Oreshnik (Russian: Орешник, lit. 'Hazel'),[2] according to Russian president Vladimir Putin, is a Russian intermediate-range ballistic missile (IRBM). The missile is claimed to have a speed higher of Mach 11 (13,500 km/h; 8,370 mph...
It's being reported that U.S. was warned about launching of this missile in accordance with nuclear safety protocol which is still in place. They thought it would target Kiev, but this time it was DnieproPETROVSK.
"The president also vowed to publicly announce any future strikes against the Ukrainian targets involving the ‘Oreshnik’ system “for humanitarian reasons” to let civilians leave a potentially dangerous zone. The announcements would not affect the effectiveness of the strikes, he added. A...
Putin addressed the nation, troops and adversaries.
In responce to the attacks with ATACMS and Storm Shadows on Russian territory, which didn't accomplish their mission, Russia for the first time used its newest nuclear capable hypersonic ballistic missile "Oreshnik". There is nothing in any...
It's a warning shot by ICBM. Also FUCKSNEWS interview didn't mention that long range missile attacks into Russia are by U.S military personnel in Ukraine. Anything Russians do at this point is justified by International Law.
We don't know what Russia will do, but we know what NATO will do. There is no magical weapon that can defeat Russia, the West will prolong the war for as long as it can. The risks are being ignored.
How long till the West will start arming Ukraine with nuclear weapons? I mean after categorical denial, then incremental arguments in that direction and eventual crossing of that red line.
I can hear retired NATO General Assholeson making the case; Putin will not respond to limited tactical...
Russia faced this threat long before Trump was elected. I am sure their responce plan is not based on Trump's good will. Russian Parliament ratified mutual defence treaty with N.K. Things will get very ugly south of DMZ.
Another Ukrainian stronghold in Kurahovo is surrounded. Russian forces are in control of the city center. Loud speakers are calling for Ukrainian soldiers to surrender.
