Have a Note 8 myself, had a Note 2 and 4 before this, absolutely love it. I use the pen so much for notes, grocery lists, cutting/pasting/editing pics/memes, etc. The dual rear camera is nice if you know how to take good pics, the manual mode is great. I used mine to take those moon shots.
When the foliage would get thick in my neighborhood, I would shoot squirrels out of the trees with my pellet gun. Got one one time that was teasing me bad, sitting in a branch and making a shitload of noise....Until I shot him right behind the ear :rifle:
NF wants to take me squirrel hunting...
What I don't get, is how are they expecting people to recert, knowing there are many who don't follow this online and didn't get a letter? How is that their fault?
I did! I just threw together some stuff to get going this season though, so next year when I don't have to buy as much stuff, I can upgrade my setup a little bit
He was good because sometimes he was a good plus to Castle, using the tech to help him out, vs Frank's bull in a china shop mentality sometimes. That one episode where he was like, "It's a lot harder when you can't kill anyone" I thought was funny. You're right though, he did have some shitty...
Yeah, I thought he did some good things on there. Really liked some of the imagery, especially in that last bit when they ambushed him and he was dressed up in the shadows with face paint and his new chest plate. Was hoping Micro and him would stick together, I kinda liked their team up a bit...
When NF told me that I'd figure it out eventually, I watched a Youtube video like @HighlandLofts suggests here. Found a video where the guy did this exact thing, saw and everything. Seemed to work pretty damn well.
As far as trophy/meat goes - sure I wanted a decent buck for my first one, but...
I'm surprised it ran, with a shot like that. While gutting mine and processing the meat, I found that not only did I accidentally shoot both shoulders, but basically shot both joints apart, and shot the top half of the heart off. Mine dropped on the spot.
Also not a fan of various name brand gun oils, I also use Mobil 1 for everything. If it's good enough to keep my engine from grenading, then it's good enough for my gun.
Speaking of cleaning - I cleaned before I went hunting this weekend and got something. I'm superstitious, so I'll be...
Jesus, 30 yards? Why didn't you just jump on her back and club her to death? :deadhorse:
Nice shot, at that range, it should have been that good :rifle:
Yeah, except for that one running buck on opening day, we haven't seen any other than on the trail cams, right?
Tried to post Saturday, but couldn't find the url data for the picture on my phone, so this works. Was only out for about an hour or so, had kicked my hoodie up bc ears were starting to get a little chilly. Already have shitty hearing anyways, heard a muffled noise to my left and saw two doe...
Yeah, @Robin I like Nikon's scope offerings, I've been considering that P-223 for my own AR. I have a P-308 and love it. Only thing I wish is that it was an M-308, haha.
@meketrefe Do you need to use cantilever mount w/ that or just regular scope rings?
I'm not a snowflake or a liberal, so I'm not quite sure how to respond in a way that doesn't paint me as such, but whatever, I'll try anyway. This is my POV and I don't intend on convincing you. This is just what I think.
I feel infringed, I feel like I'm the only one going by the rules (as...
My two brothers and I are thinking of getting my dad an optic for his AR for Christmas, I don't think he'd do a long range one, so I was thinking either an aimpoint or a 1-4x or similar bit.
Budget will probably be $200 max since we have others we have to buy for as well
Friend already...
Sounds like my buddy is gonna make me be the one to learn all this and do it, since I like to do stuff like this and he doesn't quite have the patience, haha. I do have a digital caliper, so that should help.
Nice rifle
Been looking at Boyd's for my Axis XP as well. Definitely looking for a better feel out of the stock, a little more solid feel. Otherwise, I like it.
Where do you get the 1 piece scope base?
What's the consensus on the "beginner" reloading setups? More specifically, the Hornady 85003 Lock N Load Classic kit? Got a friend potentially selling one, and a friend who wants to possibly buy a setup for her bf so we can reload together.
We don't always shoot every weekend, but we may shoot...
Kinda like that video I showed you last night, and like said above, just make a bunch of little cuts and then cut off those little bits to get closer to your line, that way you're not grinding as much. I see you're down to your lines now, so maybe with the next one we can do that, or if I come...
Wow, I'm actually wrong in my thinking. Behavior had me thinking of someone younger, but this just goes to show that spoiled insufferable brats exist at any age. Even better - make an example out of him. He should definitely know better.
"Sorry, I'm new. I fucked up. Won't happen again. I know it's not a good excuse, but I must have had a lapse in judgement. My bad."
How hard is that to say, or something like that? Ugh, this kinda chaps my ass. I would have liked to see this in person.
No sympathy for that idiot here, no matter how new they are. I hope he doesn't get a refund either. Now is the age of the entitled and offended. I'm just gonna start lumping people into this group from now on. There's no excuse for that.
With the way the wind was blowing Saturday morning, I wouldn't doubt this. It was definitely blowing against my back, downhill towards them. Hopefully Wednesday I get a better shot.
Bummer. I couldn't tell if the one that was looking my way saw or smelled me, but I was barely moving, if at all. I'm guessing it didn't smell me since they didn't take off like you described, but I felt like it knew something was up.
Hope you get one soon :cowboy:
I saw a few, but none were good enough looks for a shot. Had two doe in this area, one was younger than the other and eating in the X, lot of overgrown stuff there, didn't have a good view or shot. The colored in bits were the other one, and every shot would have been threaded through these...
Can't wait to see how it turns out and make my own as well :D This is a great project that I've always wanted to do but never put much thought towards it.
