I would suggest getting a 10/22 for now, as I do think that AW bans are going to be before the SCOTUS soon especially with these blue states that are passing even more AW bans. JMHO!

Early last year I too picked-up a Arken for my Ruger 77/22 for NRL22 at my Club. Though the 4x16 may have been a better choic as we can only shoot out to 200 yards. I also got the accessory package with the one piece rings which after adding the Weigand picatinny rail was to high, Arken swap out...
I believe that will only work for a private sale though, not from a FFL. And then the serial number would need to be prior to the law, Like we use to look for pre-1994 10/22's for example to make one AR style.
Ruger PC9 was a good choice, there is also a law (JK) that everyone has a Ruger 10/22 for cheaper trigger time. Have Safe/Fun with your choice!
