No clue, but it doesn’t matter. A finished pistol lower is a pistol by law. And technically an AR lower is in some ways because you cannot purchase an unfinished receiver outside of your state of residence either.
Never underestimate perps. 80% lowers have been showing up in crimes lately, especially the P80 Glocks. If I remember correctly, there was a thread about it here.
Good people should be able to order guns over the internet. The businesses shipping them would definitely come up with some sort of...
Shooting into a car is highly dependent upon the angle the bullet is coming at. I’ve seen lots of cars shot up, especially windshields and back windows where the glass broke, but the bullets actually skipped upwards, regardless of caliber.
I try to load a few times a week this time of the year because its in my attic and now and the fall are the best times temp wise.
Before you know it you’ll upgrade. My best purchase was a Hornady automatic powder measure. Changed the game. I still use a single stage press and don’t see that...
I’ve had nothing but perfection with mine. Glock 19 mags, Tennessee Arms lower. The rest of the lower parts are from Palmetto and the upper is a side charger from Foxtrot Mike that charges on the left side of the handguard.
You speak as if I agree with this policy. Your entire post is based off of that premise, so responding to any part of it will only serve to further solidify your belief.
That said, you’re wrong about private conveyances. You have no more right to bring ANYTHING onto a plane than you do to bring...
The horde that votes for this stuff is not composed of guns owners and conservatives who go to work every day and fear government overreach via the police. Those voters exist, but that’s not what we are experiencing here. The majority you speak of could disappear tomorrow and not only would...
Most of those people are retarded and shouldn’t be catered to. Doing so is why we have destroyed policing in this country to the point that perps literally run our state.
I am a member of a law enforcement group on Facebook which is primarily made up of NY/NJ LEO's, but it is growing now so includes a lot of cops from places where this type of civil forfeiture is a thing. Actually, NJ practices it but not to as large an extent as other states.
There are outright...
Airlines are privately owned. They can ban whatever they want on their aircraft, regardless of the fact that functionally the ban probably comes from the government.
I drive everywhere for this reason. Flying is an immense tradeoff of rights, comfort, control, options, etc that I do not choose...
I tried out a 4-16x40 illuminated scope on my last AR-10. The eye relief was around 4” but was like 1/4” of space because if my head shifted even slightly I could not focus on a target. It held zero just fine but for hunting purposes when I might not have a steady position, I cannot have a scope...
Does anyone use one for hunting? My uncle has the cheap model. They all use replaceable blades. I am considering this foldable which has both a regular and replaceable blade. Expert Voice discount has it at $41. That’s a great price.
No I’m joking. That brass wouldn’t chamber at all for some reason. Maybe slightly long? I didn’t check the brass length before loading. Just strange that it was only that brand that wouldn’t work at all.
I can’t remember honestly. I did buy a generic bcg but can’t remember where from. I believe it was the same place I bought my Faxon barrel from. I might have it written down somewhere.
I definitely wasn’t trying to argue “controversy” so to speak. I’m just surprised at some of the concern for ultra-tinyness. Seems to have been explained well enough though. When there’s very little trolling in a thread, the discussion proceeds just fine.
This isn’t really something to disagree...
@meketrefe have you ever seen what I mentioned earlier? Two bushings on an extractor? I took one out and the rifle chambered fine after that. Still doesn’t like Magpul mags though. Someone at my range is giving me an Armalite mag to try.
Having 4 less rounds of .380 compared to 9mm is a huge tradeoff that I’m not willing to make. That’s a serious difference someone has to be comfortable with to get to that size.
Well since we’re not talking about soldiers in combat here, all of us have the same threat considerations: a violent perp, possibly armed with a firearm as well, likely not wearing body armor but possibly on drugs or in an otherwise enhanced state. And for some, animals.
Since handgun calibers...
The first picture is slightly askew and does make the Sig look much smaller. But the second cannot be chalked up to camera angle. It’s clearly thicker, but the overall length is no different no matter how you line them up.
Look at the picture I just posted. The Sig was actually about 1/4 shorter but it’s hard to see in the second picture. I’m sure there’s smaller .380’s than the LCP, but at least with this comparison, why choose the LCP over the 365? Less rounds and .380 compared to more rounds and 9mm.
With bigger hands I’m assuming most of these guns are too small. I have pretty average to small hands so the small 9mm’s in particular feel perfect. I’ve handled a few true pocket guns though and didn’t like how I had to grip them. I don’t like guns I can’t get all 4 fingers on solidly.
But my...
Agreed. I think when seated, a holster on the waist is far better. I’ve occasionally practice drawing while buckled in my car. Reach with the left to unbuckle while drawing with the right with a slight body lean. No shot from a pants pocket.
