Bought these new many years ago from Kim Ahrends, and they are Zebra wood, as new, with factory cut on the right grip (underside) for ambi-safeties. (Ahrends never cut the top right part of the grip, as he let the customer custom fit it to the specific safety) so this pair remains uncut...

I am pretty familiar with JB Weld (have gotten it on many different surfaces) and I can say with almost certainty that so long as it was uncured & wet, your cleanup efforts were fine and you should have no issues.

Have 2 complete HS military-grip (106 & 107) RH grips that I no longer need. Neither grip is size-marked, but my palm meaures 4" across, and these grips fit me perfectly. Probably a large, but just thought Id mention this.
Grip 1- Looks like it could be an older Fung...
Under serial# 855,000, (1963) barrels are fit to the receiver and not interchangeable like modern shotguns. A turn off if the buyer wanted to have a bird, slug & trap/skeet barrels. Just FYI.
While doing driver training with my 16 year old daughter , we were on a local straight-away that was slightly uphill. As she crested the hill, there was a lone bicyclist in the middle of our lane, happily peddling like 10 mph in a 50 mph zone. Daughter instinctively swerved to avoid him, in...
Rob was our Westchester county exec for many years. Repub in a nest of Democrats, and he handled himself very well. He's a solid guy and the clear choice.
Never fished the Hudson for stripers. (Always wanted to though).... Im no biologist, but it seems like the fish never came into mahattan/east river and went in the sound, out to Montauk, in the numbers they used to. Caught some schoolies, but 4 or 5 years ago you'd see Blitzes blowing up...
Have a boat in Port Chester and the last three or four years have been horrible for stripers & Blues. No fish around and when they are its sporadic. Not like a few years ago for sure. Plenty of bunker, though, but no big fish chasing them.
Bought a good size box of these, from a surplus sale and they are brand new condition, freshly removed from Govt packaging. USGI M1 and M2 Helmet covers w/foliage buttonholes. Made by the F/T Blind Inc. , and so marked. Blowing these out for $13 EACH, shipped (1st class envelope) to anywhere in...

Congrats on the 1st reloads!..Speaking of 30-30 reloading, if you want to load up some plinking rounds, Standard, run of the mil 110-gr. M1 Carbine bullets work perfectly and recoil is light. Still smacks the gong hard at 100 yds, and accuracy surprised the heck out of me. 50 yards, off a...
I also have the Gen 3 G17 (semi-blowback) and the gen 3 G19 (no blowback). I can tell you the G17 never gets used anymore. The blowback feature is cool, but Id rather have the pistol shoot harder and hit what I'm aiming at. The non-blowback G19 not only outshoots it, accuracy-wise, it also...
Got this from the CMP years ago and my kids have outgrown it. No sights. Set up for scope (has standard dovetail on top of receiver). Boringly accurate, as shown by the 10 meter group I shot while photographing it. Came to me with the Prone-stock you see here (lucky I guess) with nice...
I'm no longer set up to do it at home, and I have a small part that needs to be manganese parkerized. Would rather not mail it. Anyone in the lower Hudson Valley do parkerizing? Looking for a reputable person or company as its important to me that it comes out correct. Tried the forum...
Cleaning out the reel box and found this pearl. It's from 1977 or 78, as I beleive the A" model came out in 1977 & Garcia went belly-up in late 78 . Runs perfectly, and is the "A" model with faster retrieve. Also its the ""double red stripe"" model. Quick-release push-button spool. Also has...
Dont know if things changed down here in Westchester county, as I haven't added a pistol in a few years, but my last pistol took me 50 days to be able to go pick it up, and I'm as clean as a preachers sheets. I'm no lawyer, but Id call that a clear cut infringement. Any westchester people...
