The Russian subs would be sunk within minutes of the order being given by the white house.
Every one of them has a us attack sub following it every minute it's out from port.
If we were getting close to an actual war, they would probably each have 3.
The Russians have 11 ballistic missile...
Oh, there would be some serious adrenaline going on for sure.
And some serious anxiety for a while about whether the law would agree with my assessment of how necessary it was.
But, once those had faded, I think I would sleep just fine as long as I hadn't made any egregious mistakes.
China would send troops alright.
Right into Russia to grab as much territory as they could while the getting was good.
Russia *may* have more warheads, but they do not have effective working delivery mechanisms for more than a few hundred of them.
I would expect any war would start with...
LoL @ WWIII.
Who the fuck is going to fight on Russia's side ?
This would look more like Desert Storm than a world war. It would be a complete one sided ass whooping.
And you don't think Trump has seen that game 1000 times before ?
He'll recognize it before they've left the room for the first time.
I doubt he's going to be pleased being jerked around like that.
The bottom line is that the US is completely in charge here.
We will decide how this ends.
If we cut off Zelensky, then Putin can roll over him sooner or later.
If we decide Putin is done, then he's done.
If we decide to roll him back to the 2014 borders, then we'll roll up the Russian war...
A small but *extremely* vocal group is demanding society change to accommodate them.
*that* is why everyone cares.
And *that* is where their anger should be directed.
Nobody cared about this 10 years ago. But suddenly a bunch of virtue signaling assholes got involved and turned it into a big...
There isn't anyone in the gun owner community defending the criminals. That's the difference.
There's nobody out there saying "well, Dylan roof had a point". If there was, the condemnation would be extremely vocal.
But the inmates are in charge for LBGT. They *are* the ones who are...
But, if the whack jobs shooting up schools took over the NRA and said that was a good thing, then the people calling the NRA murderers would be right.
Even though the vast majority of gun owners would find that abhorrent behavior.
Do you see the difference now ?
The guy who just wear a dress...
The problem is that the LGB folks let some certifiably insane people hijack their movement.
So, while I have nothing against LGB people in general, the LGB movement is utter bullshit.
Sort of like black people vs the BLM movement.
What does "unfair to them or their families" have to do with it ?
The judge's only job is to determine if it is legal or not. They aren't legislators. Their job isn't to be an arbiter of what is "good" or "fair" only what is legal.
Well, making him pay it is one thing.
Prosecuting him for evading it is a much better option.
I think they had less on Capone.
Would have been best to give him enough rope...
The vast majority of "classified" information is classified to keep it from the American public, not from our enemies.
It should be a rule that once it's known that our enemies know something it automatically becomes declassified, no matter how secret it was.
Policing the federal judiciary is SCOTUS's job. But they are loathe to admit any judges would be that corrupt, so they turn a blind eye to amazingly egregious behavior.
They need to grow a pair and discipline these judges that think they can do whatever they want regardless of what the law...
@Jmac00's rig isn't a Winnebago.
But, other than that, you're accurate LoL :)
He's in Arizona at the moment, so it's unlikely he has it parked "down by the river".
But I do know a spot of he's interested.
And the real problem is that they did a one solution nationwide answer.
Reducing water consumption makes sense in the desert where it is scarce (OfC, government mandates are not the way to go about that. Just allow the market to set a realistic price for water and the problem solves itself)...
I think it will be inflated away.
You will get every dollar you've been promised.
OfC, $5000/month doesn't go very far if a Value meal from McD's is $100.
Their easiest answer is to simply under cut the COLA adjustments in a high inflation environment.
But, if releasing it removes more dems that reps, then you can maintain your majority.
And if you do start prosecuting dems over what's found there, the last thing the guilty reps are going to do is try to defend then. They will quietly resign "for personal reasons" and hope to God they can...
Because most of our lives most of us have been paying into it, getting rid of it is going to be a lot more complicated than just axing a money laundering operation in Yemen.
SS *will* be eliminated in the coming decades. That is inevitable no matter who is in charge.
But doing that in a way...
This is what I see when I go to the web site.
Certainly not everything is fully documented there now, but there sure is a lot of stuff that has enough there that you can dig as deep as you want to satisfy your curiousity.
https://doge.gov/
Has an ongoing list of highlights of what they're finding and doing.
If you're looking for supporting evidence for individual actions, then that is going to be found all over the place depending on what the action was.
I would say pick one that you find questionable and then...
It's there if you care to look.
The data was always public, but constructed in a way to hide it in mountains of bullshit.
One of their bigger hits was canceling 10 different DEI contracts to the tune of about a billion dollars.
You can look them up easily and see they were real.
The funding spigot is turned off.
But these groups surely have a lot of assets stored up.
Just because their income is cut off doesn't mean they instantly run out of money.
And they're going to do anything they can with what they have left to disrupt the system that is shutting it off.
So, if the judge is ordering Trump to spend that money, maybe he should.
Congress certainly didn't specify exactly what and when it was spent on, so Trump should unfreeze it as directed, and then reroute it to support the DOGE investigation.
Certainly any allocation made in the budget by...
It wasn't just triple the CIA's official budget.
It was 75% of the CIA's *actual* budget.
Maybe less, who knows what other "stealth" budget lines the CIA has.
And OfC the drug cartels are a pretty big chunk of the actual CIA budget too.
So maybe USAID wasn't even 20% of the CIA budget.
