I was always under the impression that it is 5+1 max capacity, which is why even levers and pumps are blocked when used for hunting. I just bought a 5 round AR-10 mag for hunting, and @Bullet Guy hooked me up with a 5rd AK mag for another rifle.

It was a stretch for me just to get into levers. I’m an MSR guy mostly.

So I went with the 405gn cowboy cast bullets from Cabela’s. Had to get some .308 and they had what I needed there too. I’m going to load them with 4198. I just sighted the rifle with Hornady 325gn Leverlutions though so I will be waiting on this.
