Meketrefe's pic of the Mossberg action is an eye opener for sure, relieving all that material is an awful design IMO. Meketrefe, sounds like you've had a chance to see the Bergara. Are they making their own actions in house? Looks promising, but I've never seen one firsthand.

My thoughts exactly, it's a useful tool I find well worth owning. You definitely don't "need" one, but need has little to do with most firearms purchases in my experience.;)
