    Ammunition found locally today

And after stopping at Wally world my hunch is confirmed, no longer carrying "scary black rifles " ammunition. Funny thing, after asking an associate why, the response was " To stop mass shootings ". After a long discussion, ya know, using these odd things called "facts and statistics "...

    Ammunition found locally today

Walmart in Gates? Last I looked there ( week or 2 ago) they were pretty picked over. Do they even sell 5.56 or 2.23 anymore? I heard through the grapevine ( don't know if this is valid) they were one of the ones that were going to stop selling ammo for those "scary black rifles "......

    Ammunition found locally today

Been fortunate occasionally. Found some in Henrietta NY at sportsman's warehouse (100 rds 42 bucks) but generally been pretty scarce. Other than that best I've seen is a buck a round for FMJ which is ridiculous. Checked out the search above with no luck. Thought the thread might be helpful to some

    Ammunition found locally today

I thought this might be a useful thread for all of us still searching for the elusive unicorn with a winning lottery ticket stapled to its ass being chased by a leprechaun holding a pot of gold and the approved repeal of the Safe Act in his hands( seems to be easier to find than ammunition) If...

Glad I could help fish. Figured there was little long term-unbiased-not sponsored reviews or content to help inform so just put in my 2 cents. Just remember, your milage can and will vary

    Fixed mag speed loader question

So some longer term personal observations and experience with both Mean arms and Bear Flag defense loaders. I have owned both brands of loaders since obtaining my firearm approximately 2 months ago and have used them equally during range excursions during that time. Here's a fuller review...

    So...shooting at cars ( humor)

An English version would include 5 minutes of discussion, 2 -30 second ads, a 4 minute recap of discussion prior to ads, 15 seconds of shooting, more ads, a 2 minute walk to the item shot, another ad and 4 minutes of promotion for the channel. Russian you ask?........ "Hand me the...

The sig grip itself just seems way too thin. During dry fire drills repeated use is just, well, bad. Thanks for the advice!

Is the purchase (grip) area larger than the stock ones? Are they more comfortable after repeated use?

The fact that, being right handed, the charging handle trigger is on the left. If in an emergency, I would prefer to sandwich the charging handle with my left hand ( RH on the grip) between my first and second fingers. The Raptor being ambi seems it would potentially work better...

I think I “almost” have my 870 set up

Really very well done. I knew from the looks of it you weren't a home gamer . Well done on the finish also. BB ply can be blotchy when finished, you did a great job!

I think I “almost” have my 870 set up

Case looks very well done ( professional cabinet maker and bench carpenter here). Couldn't zoom into the photo for a closer look. What materials did you use?

As I have recently become a new firearm owner ( April) and was wondering if anyone has any experience with Raptor charging handles. I'm running a Ny compliant Sig Sauer M400 and after a thousand rounds I can see the advantages of an ambi charging handle, yet don't know anyone who owns one to...

    Fixed mag speed loader question

I also don't like how the mean arms loader releases the bolt when you take it out. The 2.0 version no longer does that. I unfortunately own both versions, and like neither.

    Fixed mag speed loader question

I own both mean arms and bf loaders, and regularly use both at the range. I too have had some issues occasionally with the last round not being properly seated in the mag, but it was only during the early learning/ practice phase of using loaders. After nearly 1000 rounds the issue has almost...
