It boils down to this. If someone is willing to do a job for $1, that’s what the job is worth in the marketplace. If no one will do it for that, it’s worth more. This theory applies to all employment.
People need to stop thinking that they have to live in cities. My daughter and her husband bought their first home a couple of years ago. In a small town, and needs updating, but they can afford it. And they are not what anyone would call wealthy.
If it actually came down to them doing this, I can see no reason at all why I wouldn’t choose to go down fighting and take as many of them with me as I could. I’m old, my kids are grown, not a fan of what society is becoming.

They don’t have to die, just retire. And this applies equally to both sides of the aisle. Why do we allow people to govern us when they are so old that, were they anyone else, we wouldn’t be comfortable letting them even manage the tv remote?
How about if it's bad enough out that a major highway has to be closed, everyone just get off the damn roads? Why is that such a difficult concept? Truck stops exist.
