Good move on his part. Between angering his base for the last time by voting to impeach, all but certain primary opponents, and the impending redraw of the district to a more Dem-favorable version, Katko was in trouble.
I’m thinking that this is political theater to appease the base. Schumer was one of the few to speak against Reid changing Senate rules to push through confirmations. He knows this maneuver will backfire in a big way when they lose the majority.
Ok? Clinton did not serve, Obama did not serve, Bush 2 barely served in the National Guard. Bush 1 was the last President with actual wartime military experience.
Lack of faith in the media and government to report accurately is very understandable. Rittenhouse being a very recent example of how they won't stop lying even after an acquittal.
Based only on what we know at this point, the parents were negligent, the school was negligent. There appears to be plenty of blame to go around on this one, but the fact remains that a 15 year old kid ruined his life and several others, and was allowed to do so by the adults in his life.
You don't get to be a "not really a Biden voter, more of an anyone but Trump voter." You don't get out of it that easily. If you vote for a potato, you own the potato.
After what the system has put this kid through he should get every last penny from every possible legal source he can. Living well is the best revenge.
Would it make me happy? Yes. Do I see it happening? Not so much. Hard to imagine the Dems ditching the first female poc VP. I have to believe the fallout from wokesville would be pretty intense.
That option is still very much on the table. I believe this judge would prefer a verdict, but I would like to think that he’s so fed up with the shenanigans the prosecution pulled in his courtroom that he won’t let them get a second try at it.
You might be surprised how many are convinced he shot people of color. I've noticed a lot of coverage fails to mention the race of the people shot. Along with repeating the lie that he took his weapon across state lines, and that he was firing indiscriminately.
