Sorry. 4 foot. We are cheap so we cut down 8 footers. We place the targets closer to the berm. If not possible then you will need to go higher....all depends on how far you are from your berm.

Most ballistic calculators give you wind tables. I use bullet flight. Applied ballistics is another good one. When i was picking mine, ab did not work on an iphone. So i use bullet flight. I paid for my app to get the additional features. It is awesome.

It all comes down to what you plan to shoot. My scar16 is set up for 25/300 meters for the irons. So in order for the irons to match up with the number on the turret (without additional calculations) it needs to be sighted in at 25m. The tough part is with a 25/300 the bullet is like 7 inches...
