Farmers don’t let people hunt their land as much as they used to that’s for sure. Around me a lot of it has to do with lease hunting and the other Main reason is that they are sick and tired of giving one person permission only to have that person turn around and bring multiple people onto...
My current lineup of Ruger firearms incl. early 80’s Super Blackhawk .44mag. , Mid 70’s Blackhawk in .357 ,early 80’s single six .22 w/ .22 mag. Cylinder and an early tang safety model M-77 in 30-06
Checkout Ruger’s newish Rangler line of revolvers. They are a pretty nice little budget single action revolver that is a blast to plink with and it won’t break the bank.
So far I’ve only got swiss chard, a couple cool hardy varieties of lettuce , spinach and chives in the ground. My Sage bush and Italian Oregano are coming back nicely as well. The strawberries, blueberries and raspberries are leafing out nicely. We won’t put much of anything else in the ground...
One of my daughters lives in NC . When they visit to drop our granddaughter for the sumner she brings us a box full. When we drive down to NC to bring our granddaughter home we bring back a box full.

We got down to 33* here last night and unfortunately it’s supposed to get down to 33* again tonight. My strawberries are flowering and seemed to have weathered fine. Hopefully they’ll do alright again tonight. I’ll just throw a light netting over them for assurance.
This has happened more often than Not in the last decade in this region.
we get unusually warm weather in mid to late April which fools the trees into premature budding only to get hit with a frost which, contrary to the articles headline used to be typical in Late April and into May ...
A very good friend of mine has owned a Star model B for many years. Although I went the S&W Gem 3 direction and own several, I still offer to purchase the Star from him on and off. It’s actually become a running joke over the years as he claims that if I would only sell him one of my S&W Gen 3...
If you wait to be bitten by a dog, in this case potentially two dogs at which point they Would be attacking you , your chances of getting to your firearm are drastically reduced. I won’t voice an opinion because I can't get the footage to play. However, some here are attributing human behaviors...
You should be ok. Make little mini green houses out of plastic milk jugs for them when they start to sprout , in case you get a late May frost. Those two varieties are also pretty cold hearty. I’ve grown them in late season before for a late fall / early winter crop with good results.
De ciccio and Waltham 29 are two good ones that do well in Northern climates and very often produce side shoots after the main head is harvested. You should start them at least 6-8 weeks before last frost date.
I said it in the beginning of this thread I believe and I’ll say it again. I don’t give a shit if he’s a dried up dog turd , if he’s running against huckleberry I’m voting for him. I don’t know what will happen, if anything regarding 2A in this gulag seeing as he’s just one of a handful against...
We used to hunt down and eradicate commies in politics. Once these Vermin get a foothold they’ll open the door to invasion like nothing we’ve seen yet.
I think your reading comprehension skills are a bit lacking. No where did I say that all other gun owners vote all the time. I merely countered your comment with my own knowledge on what YOU said about gun owners Not being registered to vote. I’m quite aware of the lack of voting support among...
Just for the record I don’t know of even One gun owner that isn’t registered to vote. Hell, I haven’t even known of one who wasn’t registered in my entire voting life. That includes hunters, target shooters and collectors , equating to hundreds of firearms enthusiasts. My small gun club alone...
I watched the news segment on this the other day. Apparently he has been doing it for a couple of years. The news article that I watched had a couple of text messages from him to a buyer where he claimed to have multiple “ Javies” !
When he was caught he had over 400,000 rnds. of military ammo
The Mrs. and I just got back from getting our non resident permits from Montrose PA / Susquehanna county . I gotta say it was one of the fastest and easiest pistol permit transactions that I have ever done. It literally took a total of 15 min. , start to finish and it took that long only...
We need to get a petition started, barring Any and ALL lawyers , especially low IQ ambulance chasing lawyers from being able to run for political office.
