Leticia James claiming that the neutered piece of shit NY compliant 223/5.56 is an AR15 is alot like Leticia James claiming she is a desirable woman.NY has responded saying Plantiffs have no standing because you can still buy AR15
That is a thing of beautyToday's filing for Plaintiff...

I'm noticing similar arguments: "FPC/GOA aren't directly injured, so they can't sue," and "plaintiffs haven't been injured by the not yet active new law nor have they been charged, so sorry no."Another small update in Vanchoff V. James (Filed 7-12-22, FPC challange to NY's AWB)

Weird. It worked in NYSRPA v. Bruen.
It's amazing how NYS has a 1 page argument while the plaintiffs are coming in with 40+ page rebuttals. It really shows where the power is shifting to, I think.
I'll ask here too. What exactly does this mean?
See the other thread.I'll ask here too. What exactly does this mean?
Because this is NY, NY judges don't GAF. If their master Hochul don't care what SCOTUS says, why should they. There are no repercussions. Why am I not surprised.
We have been seeing good things going on too in a flurry as of recent related to CA, CO, NYC, etc.. You lose a battle sometimes while winning the war. Doing my best not to have a defeatist attitude. That is what they are hoping for.So likely, with this new Supreme Court precedent, there will be judges that have integrity and follow their oath and respect the rulings of higher courts. There will also be judges who don't. For whatever reason ; be it personal belief over rule of law or actual corruption. Regardless, I do believe gun control's days are numbered.
We've had so much victory doc. Everyone has to stop and remember that so much, a majority of the country actually, is and has been very pro 2A, especially compared to NY, Etc.. These recent legal issues, while they do affect every state in the country, for now only directly affect the states with the draconian laws in question. While it certainly helps fortify the 2A in all 50 states, the "history and tradition", not to mention the state sanctioned mind fucking NY and other states have given their residents, will definitely take some time to be cast off....my point being that these are the death throws of anti-gun laws. It would be great if NY and other ban states would respect the rule of law immediately, but they don't and it will take a lot of court losses to make them come about. We have been seeing good things going on too in a flurry as of recent related to CA, CO, NYC, etc.. Well, that didn’t work out at all like we had hoped. But Suddaby’s 78 pages of tricky talk sort of spelled out how the next plaintiff should proceed for victory.Man, That is really good.
The judge will look like a corrupt hack if the injunction is not issued.
Yup. It's easy being in the northeast to think that most of the country is like this. It isn't. My wife and younger son just came home a few minutes ago from visiting my older son in TN. She told me by the Smokey Mountains they actually have Trump stores. Stores that sell Trump merchandise. Yeah, NY is in a league of it's own. We've had so much victory doc. I have a buddy in Arizona that told me about a Trump store in his town, lol.Yup. It's easy being in the northeast to think that most of the country is like this. It isn't. Now I know what it was like to be in Nazi Germany during the day...
And the largest one I understand is in S.C. I wonder where all the Biden stores are? Surely one can profit off of Biden merch right? LolI have a buddy in Arizona that told me about a Trump store in his town, lol.
Very good video. I'm just curious when does all of what he said come to fruition?
Well, I've always said I believe right triumphs over wrong, good over evil and that although I don't always understand why at the time, things happen for a reason. Without hope why get out of bed in the morning. I will admit to getting frustrated along the way but ultimately I believe we will succeed. I'm just a "Take your time but hurry up" kind of guy.Who knows.. all depends on if GOA and their client decide to appeal the decision.
Or there is the new NYSRPA 2.0 case that was just filed and I am sure they will be adding all this to their brief when the time comes.
Or maybe a 2nd GOA case will be filed with a new plantiff.
But things are happening and they are happening fast. No matter how much others want you to believe the opposite.
It’s true! When I was in Pigeon Forge, TN, I picked up a “Joe & the Ho gotta go“ front license plate at a Trump store, and it is proudly displayed on my car daily.Yup. Interesting videos. So the judge rules the plaintiff had no standing and throws the case out, but not before going on at length how the new law is unconstitutional. The first video is quite positive, the second one less so. The mental gymnastics used by the judge to dismiss the case seem pretty weak to me, and it could just be the fact he was a coward that didn't want to be the first to strike down the law. But then why go through all the trouble later in the decision going on at length about how unconstitutional the law was? Something is not adding up. I suspect the law will eventually be overturned but we will have to live with it for quite some time as the legal gamesmanship plays out. I think there is light at the end of the tunnel but it's a long goddam tunnel.See your post and raise
