Active Shooter Mandalay Bay

[Darth]

Las Vegas gunman may have used special device to fire faster, expert says

Ayoob, what the FUCK man!?

[Darth]

It might not concern you one bit, but for law enforcement it narrows down the field of who an attack may come from next and target that group of people.ISIS , Antifa NAZIS , KKK, black Panthers, MS13, . True, doesn't help any victims one bit, but it might help save lives later on.

If he is a lone wolf , ( which appears to the case) not much can be done, but if had leanings toward ANTIFA which is openly calling for violence or ISIS it gives law enforcement an area to focus on ,and It also possibly give them reasonable cause to search if necessary.

It might not put humpty dumpty together again but it might prevent him from getting pushed off the wall next time.

Does it help? Not really. If it was a Muslim person, they certainly would not be under extra scrutiny.

No, it's all about saving face. Pathetic in this instance.

[Podmonkey]

........That article was actually pretty balanced. But they went to Mr. Ayoob so go figure.

[Marine Cpl]

Ayoob, what the FUCK man!?

I never liked that guy. Any guy that tells his students to hold the pistol like this is a piece of shit.

Yes it could help stop another attack if you know where to look. doing nothing is pathetic.

It more about diverting blame than anything else, for both sides. What a proud legacy for the fallen!
If we should have learned anything over the last 16 years its that LE and Governments are impotent in the face of such madness. Only a society where every citizen is a first responder could be secure. Relatively.

[Cureforcancer]

I have a BFS 3 trigger. With quality ammo and If your finger is well "timed" you can run a full 30rd mag or drum that "simulates" a full auto.

Ok. Ok. You and Holdover have made valid points. I hereby change my opinion.

............Um.......wow. I don't know what to do now.

Let's focus on this then. The possibility of multiple shooters. Does one room have that many windows?

[MothMan]

2 room suite

[FrankenCub]

Could the image be faked? Right window looks odd.

I think it's a mock-up.

[Mosinitis]

Why did it take them so long to figure out where the fire is coming from? Two broken windows aren't enough of a clue (even at night)?

This is what it looks like in real life at night.

It might be difficult to see.

[holdover]

Just look for the window with the flashing light

It brings back memories. Prior to Kennedy shooting in Dallas, the cops on the detail used to have their backs to the crowd. After that they started turning around scanning the buildings.

I do want to say this and then I will shut up for today. The event is no longer breaking news. All day we have seen endless parade of "experts" giving their opinions. No Facts! Just opinions to say, "look at me and how smart I am" STFU Already!!!!
If the guy ends up being tied to ANTIFA or the I'm with Her! campaign. Then I want to see "experts" talking about how all this never ending hate talk by Media Outlets bashing Trump caused this guy to act.

Or....under a police state where every person is an inmate.

[Mosinitis]

Will,
Your picture shows it would be easy to see the holes, no reflection.

[BerettaGuy]

Either way, bumpfire stocks are onbthe block.

and tannerite.

[kev74]

I'm surprised there was no manifesto type document found (or reported on) so far. This guy must have known he would be getting a lot of attention.

They knew immediately:

Embedded media from this media site is no longer available

:34 seconds. And the fire alarms went off in the room.

Hey I'm no expert. Just a speculator.

[Mosinitis]

The attack took well over an hour with a shooter at the same known location. WTF?

[Marine Cpl]

I just saw live footage of the 2 windows on Fox. The curtain was blowing in the wind. It matches the potential mock-up picture. So does anybody have any theories to why 2 windows so far apart?

[VietnamEraVet]

Here is something I don't understand. At the 6PM EST news conference, the Sheriff said that the hotel security guard who went to his room on the 32nd floor in response to a noise complaint (apparently from when he knocked out the windows with a hammer) was shot in the leg by the shooter through the door, and was NOT killed. And this was right before he started his shooting spree.

Soooooo..., here is what I want to know:

I would presume the security guard retreated, called 911, and said I've been shot by someone in Room 32XX. So, WHY did it take the police 72 minutes to breach into that room? Why was it reported that they did not know what room, OR EVEN WHAT FLOOR HE WAS ON? Supposedly, the police started on the 29th floor and worked their way up to the 32nd floor. WHY???

Las Vegas has a full time SWAT team. What took them 72 minutes to get in there? And exactly how long was the shooter actually shooting? Was it only 5 or 10 minutes, or was it longer?

The timeline details at this point aren't lining up for me. And it sure would have been nice if someone had inquired about that at the news conference, instead of having the politicians get up and speak for their future campaign commercials.

It's an all-glass building, they are not far apart. Glass walls.

Immpossible. There was no grass.
