Right. What have we got, a "major win" that allows guns in public housing projects. What a sick joke.

This is the same judge Benitez who twice overturned the magazine capacity bans in California and refused to stay it, leading to mass purchases. Both times these got overturned on appeal and the Supreme Court refused to intervene (the latest might still be pending?)

But here in New York there have only been losses on magazine capacity so far. I haven't even seen anything recently about a challenge to it. Since people are still getting charged I would expect to see the criminal defense bar stepping up and making constitutional challenges based on Bruen now. The thing is most of these charges have hit people who have a lot of other stuff going on and the "high capacity magazine" charge is usually the least of their worries.

Amish, Native American, Sovereign citizen, Farmer, 24 years at Rochester Law Group handling scores of suits and divorces, 19 years for the Department of the Army at Seneca, Worked at Ziebart, Worked at Plum Island, Worked for the NY prison system, "construction work" for the upland water project, "retired" from the court system, dump truck driver hauling 911 debris, Contractor for Spancrete Northeast, 40 years as an electrician, HVAC contractor. I agree 100% . I have other options than a colonoscopy to buy ammo and I planned ahead a while back .
I’m legitimately concerned for fellow gun owners who didn’t plan for this and have no option to avoid this tyrannical BS cluster fuck .

I know a person who sells ammo at wally world.
All I hear about are delays and denials.
The latest is that around noon and after 5pm they almost always get delays. Rarely do they turn into approval by the next morning.

Fuck WM, but I can't blame them for getting out of the business...Last time I bought a gun there was four or five years ago and only reason was it was on clearance: the cluster fuck involving three different people to process, package, verify, and escort me out were neither cost or time effective.
