Ammo is the next currency.

Ammo is to be bought, sold, and in an emergency traded

CIL and Western 22 short. The Western is 1962 or 1963. Believe the CIL is pre-1962 as no warning on box.

Picked up 2 boxes of Federal 9mm at Sportmans Warehouse last evening.

$16.99/box...up another $1. I almost passed on it for that price but had a rewards card to cover one box.

I have an unopened case of small pistol primers I got a couple of weeks ago. I could sell just one of the boxes on GB and recoup what I spent for the case and then some. I won't because who knows when this will end. Crazy times.

The last case lot of primers I bought, I paid $125/5000. Shipped. There's a completed auction on GB - case of CCI 500 SP (5000) - Sold for $1375.00 Plus $24.95 shipping. +3% CC

Does anyone know for certain how much the hazmat shipping charge is for UPS or FedEx?

Sucks everything is so expensive but on the flip side if you didn't stock up when things were cheap... you don't really have anyone to blame but yourself. Personally I'm thinking of selling some stuff off now since prices are high and I have much more than I need.

Covid sure did a number with ammo prices but gun owners are also causing the "Shortage" How many idiots are going in and just clearing the shelves when they see ammo at Walmart to either "Stock up" on it or resell. I watched a guy on YouTube last night he had ammo for guns he doesn't even own. Half the people can't hit a target at 50 yards what do you need 5000 rounds of ammo for.

With the bidden administration talking about more gun restrictions and the continuing issues related to covid shutdowns and delays I don't see the issue going away for a long time. They wont need to pass gun legislation because the average joe is pretty much already priced out of shooting for sport or hobby.

Yeah I've been thinking hard lately and you will see a good chunk of my collection up for sale probably next week whatever I don't sell locally to friends/family. Still keeping some guns but would you rather go shooting and spend $400 on ammo for an hour shooting or make a payment on a new motorcycle or boat.

Lost too many family members recently I'm going to spend what time I have left enjoying life.

I have more guns than I'll ever shoot. I have stuff I've had for years and haven't even taken them out of the house. I seriously need to downsize.

What will your kids/grandkids remember more? The time you spent with them enjoying life or sorting through your gun and ammo stash wondering if they should hide it or turn it in?
