I never heard of Blakeman up until recently.

I would make a go at running for the NY governor's throne. I have the name recognition, I mean, who hasn't heard of Bigfoot?

The first thing I would do is make myself a temporary dictator and separate New York City from New York State. After that, I would repeal all NY gun control laws. If the Feds didn't like it I would tell them to go fuck themselves. After all, Hochul has already established that precedent.

After my first term ended, I would voluntarily relinquish my dictatorship and hand New York State back to the voters. But this time it would be New York STATE voters only.

But the problem is, after name recognition, I have nothing. I don't have the funds, or the funding, or the experience needed for a political campaign.

Plus, I have a bad habit of dropping the F bomb. My press conferences would be interesting but probably NSFW. lol

I say I would run, but they would off me before the election.
I would do as you only a lot more and the jails aren't the size needed to house all the politicians.

I would also do a lot more, but if I included everything I would do my post would have been way too long.

Too bad the average Joe Schmoe is not capable of running for high political office. I don't think that was our founders' intention.

How does it work when selecting a running mate? I would think that conversation would be had first with that person before its publicly disclosed? A week so so the Blakeman campaign announced it was asking Fulton Co Sherriff Giardino to be on the ticket. Giardino declined the day after it was announced. The campaign signed some other NY sheriff , but doesn't that make them look like a bunch of assholes?

He’s trying to win. He’s not really conservative so this doesn’t surprise me. I’m not happy about it, he saw what happened in nyc and is pondering for votes. A hardliner can’t win in NYS. He should have just shut up because this will lose him more votes than it will gain him. Oh well he wasn’t going to win anyway. The only chance we had is if Delgado challenged Hochul on another line. He dropped out so she’s the winner.

I don't think New York will ever have anything other than a Democrat Governor.
It's so lopsided that the Democrats don't even necessarily have to employ their voter fraud.

NYC, which controls the gubernatorial vote, just went full retard and voted in an actual commie as their mayor. It's getting even worse, further and further to the left.

The only way a GOP will ever come close is for the state GOP leadership grow some balls , find a judge who will at least enforce rules and laws and challenge the validity of the registered voters rolls.

Everyone with any common sense in this state knows that the elections are rigged
Hell democrats openly admit to their desire of allowing walk in voting to get as many ineligible voters in line

The fraud is right in front of our faces

Hmm, a person of Jewish faith wishing muslim Americans a happy holiday. He’s either pandering to the muslim community or committing political suicide I guess.
He likely didn’t have a snowballs chance in Hell anyways.

He has to in order to get any traction in this State. A Conservative has to be moderate and reach out to everyone.

There's an old saying "those that can't now teach" well in Politics, all too often it seems the ones that "can't' are the ones that can't get a job/career/life because they're stupid fucking assholes are the ones that run for Office and when they win, they bring on board the same sort of people that espouse opinions as facts then set forth policy on how people that actually do the work, run the businesses, operate the Factories ARE to conduct those activities...this is what communism is: government taking over privately owned businesses "for the People" then running it into the ground because they don't know WTF they're doing and don't care as they've no vested interest in what they stole.

Accepted Trump's endorsement.

That's a no for me. I want a republican governor that outright rejects Trump. I'd vote for them over the Democrat by far, but until then....

The problem is to get judges inside of NYS that are Republican they need to win elections and a lot of them. This is the problem.

I agree but they are. They are appointed by a political party to do their bidding and that’s what they do.
it’s a joke. By me the judges there is never a choice to even vote for. The powers that be on the Republican and democrat side get together and select one to run. That’s the only choice there is.

THAT is the crux few realize.
We're so disenfranchised with Hochul and democrats that I'd vote for anyone with (C, R) after their names.
"When you represent everyone, it's a good idea to well wish everyone...doesn't mean you like them or approve, only that you have common decency...sort of like saying "God Bless You" to an atheist.
