Chuck Schumer Says Democrats Will Reverse Most of DOGE Cuts

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) revealed that Democrats would “restore most of the cuts” that the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) had made.

“If you look at the budget actually, we’re working on right now — and we’ll have the T-HUD budget, you know, transportation and HUD budget, we restore most of the cuts and even go higher than previous years on many of the programs that DOGE slashed,” Schumer responded.

This has been going on for 30 years. Whatever gets passed by a republican will get reversed by a dem. And vise versa. This is how they keep everyone divided. Why do we all think voting matters? So we can be satisfied for 4 years and pissed off the next 4 years??

His polling numbers are really bad. Even with the leftist pollsters.

That’s not his polling numbers. That is his approval rating. Gillibrand was on the 2024 ballot so that means Schumer will be on the 2026 ballot. The issue will be the republicans will pick so no name person, will not out any money into the campaign, and more than likely 10% of people will know where he stands.
Schummer’s approval rating means little to nothing in this state. Mandami just won NYC and so many here will just check the box because he has a D attached to him. He will not lose. All one needs to do it look at the 2024 presidential race when Harris beat Trump by about 10 points and Gillibrand won by about 25-30 points over her no name unknown competitor.
The Republican Party in NYS is all but dead. My town just went 100% democrat. Every elected official is now a democrat.
Here is Gillibrand’s numbers up until election. If you notice 27% of Republican said they would vote for her in NYS. She’s a rabid liberal so what is that? They don’t know the opponent and the same will hold true now.

Poll: Gillibrand's favorability ratings relatively steady amid reelection bid

She is running for a third full term in the U.S. Senate.

She beat her opponent by almost what her approval rating was.

If there is a hint Schumer will lose they will run someone else.

Schumer's an asshole.

It's not only reversing the DOGE cuts. The Democrats will also reopen the border and allow the turd world invasion to resume.

The modern-day Democrats hate America.
When they get back in power, they will prove that beyond any doubt.

The border is closed, and mass deportations are underway.

Gas is under $2.00 a gallon in some states.

World leaders are no longer pointing and laughing at America.

That's some winning, albeit at least temporarily, until the Democrats get power again.

Plus, dare I say "Gulf of America" lol. Okay, maybe that's a stretch.

Schumer isn't up for reelection until 2028. It may actually make a lot of sense for the D's to retire him in the next 2 months.

If enough of the useful idiots can be removed, enough of the illegal's casting Ballots removed, the corrupt dominion voting machines removed, the DNC operatives removed, the money stolen through government fraud recovered, those complicit in those frauds imprisoned, the foreign government interference stopped, and the American Right rallied to the Polls in record numbers again, we might actually have a chance at holding all three levers another term.

Those are good points. Ah shit, I'm just going to get into my time machine. I finally got it running. I'm going back to 1970something. Goodbye, it's been nice conversing with you all.

EDIT: Dang it! I put all of my animals in my time machine, and the wife wanted to go with us too, so she squeezed in along with the rest of us. I flicked the switch and then pressed the red thing. We then felt some shaking and smelled smoke, and then I think I heard someone or something fart.

We slowly opened the hatch, and damn it, we're still here in the clown world era. I thought for sure I had all the bugs worked out this time...

So the wife took the cats and went back into the house, I put the dogs back in their kennel, the rabbits back in their cage, and the chickens back in their coups. Needless to say, we are all very disappointed... :(

He’s 75 and looks like dog crap. I can’t imagine what he will be like in about 3 years, but if he can run he will. I don’t think his health will allow it. Time will tell.

That's a LOT of "IF".
And I've not seen any movement on ANY of them.

GOP better not start celebrating. Right now I still predict a bloodbath in the next election.

After the Chinese engineered Coup of 2020, I expect the 2nd American Republic under Trump to extend into 2030 and beyond.

Unless we nuke China, it will continue to try to undermine the world order, with its smarmy" belt and road" invasion tactics...........it must be gone. It tried to take over the Carribean nations, and Panama Canal.........and now Greenland, TO KILL US..with Fentaynl and drugs and bribery. I expect we will do a sneak attack on China soon.

I can see the US's communist democrats, under the new Republic, actually are guilty of treason withthe CCP, in over 1000 cases, and I expect, as world history shows............like under Caesar, a reckoning will happen, and a rectification will occur for the CCP compromised Dems having a less than prosperous future.

The history of the world predicts this. That is why they have tried to kill Trump so many times. China and Schumer know what is coming.
