I was never a dick about it. The Army had standards and I upheld those standards.

I actually strive to follow rules, regs and set standards.

I was never a "duck"( you edited it) either. Though I was a Screaming Eagle, all American Airborne Infantry! Like one trainee told me years later at a chance meeting in a dive bar, "Sgt. Robin, you were one hard Sumbitch, but you were always fair", bought me drinks too! What standards(?), I was preparing young men to go to war, My standards were high, very high.
