I have a modest collection going. Just came into some semi-rare Australian & UK ammo boxes. (Love the Eley 22 Short Wadcutters).. Top left are UK, the Hy-Score subsonic is Aussie and the “22 Longo” is Brazilian. Im sure we’ve all at one point in our youth had a German red round tin of the RWS ”Acorns” or in my case Dynamit-Nobel CB Caps spire point 22’s without powder. These things still embed well into a 2x4 so they’re no joke. Have a small center fire lot going too. Mostly old school Remington, Winchester boxes of 30-40 Krag, etc..also have a bunch of USGI brown cardboard 30 Carbine, M2 Ball, 45 Ball, etc from WW1 & WW2 eras.

I find them "neat" and interesting, but I do not collect them, however a very close friend does, so I give them to him whenever I happen into one.
Anyone play the guessing game as to how old they are by the color, design, Brand, etc.?

I've used Wards auction house to value some , they don't really give info on age, I have found some age related info here and there but nothing dedicated to it.
I'm going to have to get some pics and post em up!
