Yes.
Either that or he is going to be slid in by recess appointment and bypass the confirmation process all together. If he is no longer the nominee they have no reason to research him.

Either that or it was becoming too much of a circus and it will be difficult for them to ramp back up when a new candidate is proposed.
They're "boy who cried wolf"ing themselves.
Yes, I am happy about him dropping out.
Four Senators have confirmed that they will NOT vote for him to the position.

I do not think so, I do not think the investigation led to anything.
Too many in the Senate want nothing to do with him in the position.

It's almost like Trump did something bombastic that sucked up all the attention, and all the other potentially troublesome nominations slid by with little to no attention.

Shades of the Gen. Mike Flynn bullshit.
Throw a bunch a shit at the wall and see if anything sticks.
This has RINO/Deep State written all over it.
Trump should have stood by Flynn and Gaetz should tell the RINO shitweasels to fuck off.
Now the new administration will be starting off pushed on its heels, and the inauguration 2 months off.

I'm not very concerned.
Still lots of winning to do!

Hard to vote for a guy who pays for sex and possibly with minors. Not a good look for the party. Hey we don’t want you to have an abortion but prostitution is ok. I’m happy he dropped out as well.

It was all a "smoke-n-mirrors set-up by Trump. Trump is no fool. Art of the deal, he played them like a fiddle, again. The minute Matt Gonad resigned, i knew something was up. You DON`T just quit your job the minute your nominated for another job. Think about that for a moment. Trump KNEW Gonad could never get past the confirmation. Pam Bondi is a FAR BETTER choice. She has a stellar record. She`ll easily be confirmed.
Now Matt Gonad can jump from the 118th, to the 119th, and still have a job. He DID win re-election, so there`s that. Personally, i think he and MTG both need to be thrown the hell out. Both of those dweebs are nothin but trouble.
And something else to keep your eye on, MIKE JOHNSON! He`s a sneaky little snake!

Honestly, that's a point in favor of giving it to him IMHO.
Most of congress (both sides) are interested in an AG for what he *won't* investigate more than for what he will.

MSNBC has announced ~~~~AND IM NOT MAKING THIS UP ~~~~Pam Bondi is "to qualified and to competent to be AG"
This is no shit. In our judicial system, how does one become over qualified, and to smart to be a lawyer. If Im in legal trouble, I WANT the most over qualified and smartest person in the country to defend me
Jesus, these people are stupid

It's almost like, well, I can't explain it.
Those people are so messed up, my mind does not compute their delusions, or whatever the fuck their mental problem is. Those people, the lefties, are not right in the head, there's something wrong with them, they're broken people. And I'm not being sarcastic.

Guess when the Fake new spins fake Narratives that's a tough nut to crack as we have seen many times in the past. Just ask Trump.

I bet ya $5 that if that AG nomination was 17, he wouldn’t have pulled out.
Gaetz, as Sonny HostIn had to read on the View................was cleared of all wrongdoing after 3 years of criminal investigations............
I agree, this was bait...........Gaetz might be appointed US Senator from Fla, in Rubios seat, or be elected back to Congress .
Romney, Murkowski, Susan Collins, just hung an innocent man.............KARMA

Unfuckingbelievable?
Trump could appoint the Easter Bunny or Lenin and the Maoist loons would say he was "too dangerous".
"Dangerous" to whom, in particular, one might logically ask?
Well, the Uniparty/Deep/Bureaucratic State seems the best choice.
