Everything except machine guns and DD is no longer NFA (kinda)

This seems surreal but... the ATF director has said you no longer have to go through the NFA process to purchase or make SBRs, SBS or cans. Full auto is still a no go because that is and always was actual law. Most importantly, this does NOT supersede state law. So all the usual suspects are still SOL. Who knows is this will stick, but for now it's not law so proceed with caution.

I have quite a few cans, 14 I think. 5 of them are 22s

For many, the exciting part isn't being able to buy these things, but making them themselves without fear of punishment. For some that will look like a new and exciting experience, for others they will just continue to do what they were doing all along. WITHOUT, permission. Again, this isn't law, but the writing is on the wall for many positive outcomes.
