Rosenwasser was allegedly under federal investigation for tax evasion. Agents were attempting to take him into custody when shots were fired at his residence on Route 416, sources say.

There were multiple levels of bad behavior alleged including taking payoffs and misusing his DA authority to harass the family of his client.
I don't know how true any of the allegations are. The judge always had a good reputation, but I could see a lot of dirty stuff coming from the DA's office.
