FULL PRESS CONFERENCE: Seven shot, one stabbed on Rochester’s East End​

The Rochester Police Department has confirmed that there were multiple shots fired Saturday evening in the East End of the city shortly after midnight. Officers located three shooting victims and one stabbing victim on E Broad Street near Savannah Street. Officers say the victims’ ages range from 12-18. None of their injuries are life-threatening.

As for Buffalo, 12 people were injured in 6 separate shootings across Buffalo over the weekend, according to the Buffalo Police Department. The incidents occurred between late Saturday night and early Sunday morning during the Fourth of July holiday, though all victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
