There are so many examples to prove this is true.
If one follows politics close enough you can see it on almost a daily basis.
Not always, but the stupidity usually comes from the "Dumb Ass Democrat" side.

One good example is, "everything" that comes out of Congresswoman's AOC's (D-NY) big mouth.
Senator Gillibrand (D-NY) is almost just as bad but doesn't get as much media coverage is all.

Just recently, Congresswoman Maxine Waters (D-CA) proved that she is in over her head again. By grilling several bank executives about student loans even though they were nationalized under former president Obama nearly a decade ago.

Another one that comes to mind is when state Senator Kevin de Leon (D-CA) said.
--- "This is a ghost gun, this right here has the ability with a .30-caliber clip to disperse with 30 bullets within half a second.
Thirty magazine clip in half a second."

How about this one from Congresswoman Diana Louise DeGette (D-CO) ... (referring to standard capacity magazines)

And yeah, the classic from the late Congresswoman Carolyn McCarthy (D-NY) ... (referring to a barrel shroud)
