Your reps both probably support this as mine do as well. Most of our elected elite class support this. Probably even half of the ones with an R in front of their names.

I also did the ol' my family contributes as positive members of the community, and we are having hard discussions that NY no longer represents our values and we are discussing whether to take our family, community contributions, income, tax revenue and spending to another state that respects their citizens.

I'm quite sure that will not get me a response and they will be glad to see me leave taking my conservative vote with me.

I wholeheartedly agree but how many gun owners are in this state that are simply too damn lazy to try. 10,000, half a million how many of us are there? Seems like every other weird ass group greases the squeaky wheel and gets things done. All we can do is face the fact that most gun owners like to bitch or simply can't or won't be bothered to act. If we all did as you and I do it "may" be possible to be heard and taken seriously. I got permission to hang a sign in my FFL's shop that gives names and phone numbers along with email addresses so that when the inevitable bitching starts, we can just point to the sign. Tired of hearing it!

I spent the time and effort regularly complaining to my local, state, and federal reps. The only replies I got were form letters stating the standard "I support the 2nd amendment, but...blah blah blah". I finally said fuck it, and left that shit hole. YMMV.

I tried explaining to the governor why people are leaving and offered to sit down with her or her staff to have a discussion on simple ways to avoid this. I got no response. I laid out many of the policies forcing people to leave this state. They don’t care.

Honestly, they are relieved and pleased every time a conservative voter leaves.

It gives their party power and NY politics is slowly consolidating into a D-Liberal uniparty. By driving conservatives from the state they.arw actually reducing any political challenges and increasing the likelihood of political survival.

They welcome it.


Sooner or later they will care when they can't pay the bills but it hasn't stopped them so far they keep finding new and creative ways to pillage one fund or another for unintended purposes to launder money around. Hasn't come home to roost yet but sooner or later they will deplete all their buckets of money and will be bankrupt.
