Nice looking gun

Good to know I like the FN pistols and have mulled around the idea of one. Maybe I’ll get one instead of the sig. hmm decicions decisions.View attachment 121080
first time shooting a red dot on a pistol and first time shooting the 509C MRD. For 5 yards rapid fire as fast as I can pull the trigger. The 509 ran federal and wolf no problem. Very impressed with it. Borderline subcompact size but shoots like a full size. Also put 500 rounds more thru my GSG 1911in 22LR. Had no hiccups other than once at round 499 the hammer dropped and the round did not gooff. Recocked the gun and it fired no problem. Fired a mix of CCI mini mag, Winchester sub sonic hollow point and Aquila high velocity hollow point, and it feed and fired everything. I’m very impressed with it so far for a 22LR semi auto.
The 509 shoots very well. I’m surprised how much I enjoy shooting it. I did a ton of research and found it has the best out of the box OEM optics offering on the MRD model.Good to know I like the FN pistols and have mulled around the idea of one. I was thinking about getting one of those hogue grips for one of my 1911's. Same color actually. How do you like it?
Just picked one of these up myself. Love it.View attachment 127591
My new Shadow Systems DR920 elite
I like it a lot. My 1911 has no front strap checkering, so it was an easy way to add grip to the front. I like how it fits my hands.I was thinking about getting one of those hogue grips for one of my 1911's. Same color actually. How do you like it?

If you plan on running a Trijicon RMR on it, I suggest using the Forward Controls Design OPF-G. It will eliminate the dead space in the rear and in front of the optic and it will help support the optic and keep it much more secure than the factory Glock plates.Picked up my 1st glock today and already dressed her up. Glock 19 MOS gen 5 installed an apex trigger and Truglo tritium pro night sights.
Im thinking of going with the Holosun 507If you plan on running a Trijicon RMR on it, I suggest using the Forward Controls Design OPF-G. Well if that’s the case you’re in luck. The HS507c is the only other optic that will fit the FCD OPF-G. The only thing you have to make sure you do is use the short screws that come with the 507c (Do not use the long screws that come with the optic or the screws that come with the OPF-G). I say go with the RMR If you are able to since it’s a nicer optic but I understand not everyone has the ability or desire to spend the extra money. Though I will also say I’ve seen some sales recently on the RMR that have it reasonably priced right now.Im thinking of going with the Holosun 507
Im going to order that plate you suggested as I see what you mean in regards to the empty space. I picked up a 507c green dot for $270 cyber monday.Well if that’s the case you’re in luck.
