I expected this type of reply.
My guns are locked up. No kids.
I don’t carry the orange one. No lawyer.
However, I could carry a out out the box G45 and if god forbid I ever had to use it a lawyer would still have a fuckin problem.
The dislike shoots like a bastard.
Black G45. Lawyer could say, you have a death laser on top, oh my god you have a grippy thing to make you shoot and have more control!!
At this point in NYS, if you use a firearm to PROTECT yourself it doesn’t matter what it looks like.

I see your orange g45 has the RDO mounted directly to the slide and no plate. How did you do that? What RDOs can direct mount to the MOS slide?
I had it cut specifically for the RMR . I don’t notice a huge difference honestly, it’s slight. The combination of everything on the gun has been great though. I am really enjoying it. It ran extremely well for my class on Sunday.
I know these are super common now but I'm still excited.

Now I have to learn more about pistol red dot zero, what distance to zero it to, point of aim, point of impact etc. Have a lot to learn.

My P229 Legion family. 9mm, 40S&W, and 357Sig
Picked up a P320 Spectre Comp slide, threw it on my X5 Legion frame and FCU.
I came across this Colt at the LGS. They gave me a great deal on it and I thought it would be a fun little project, clean bore and nice action. It most certainly isn’t new but it was a good time.
After some love, it’s a pretty good shooter and a good experience.

My hand just went numb from looking at this.
I was looking at this same wheel gun before I got the Ruger LCR. The price swayed me the other way.
LCR had a nicer trigger but the grips would have been just a tad to bulky for the kind of pocket carry I had in mind. The very low weight of the 340 PD will also help for pocket carry in running pants with no belt.
Also I just thought the thing was cool honestly.

All purchased within the last three years. Must be a Westchester thing. Just renewed with the state and it renewed in a couple of days so if there was a problem I'm sure they would have sent me something.

It’s a southern NY thing ie downstate. My boss has 200 pistols on his permit and I’m at 20 so far. Erie county doesn’t give shit how many you have. Last time I was at the permit office the lady was saying how excited she was to be getting a desert eagle L5 along with an AK pistol for Xmas.

Nice! Outside of NYC, Westchester is the worst county. I think we are the only ones that had to take a 16hr course w/ 2hrs of live fire, as a part of our application process. Fn Liberal bastards down here. SMH

Yeah the further west you go in nys the better it gets. I can go buy a pistol, run to the permit office and add it, and go back and pick it up same day. Many people I know have 2 or 3 permit cards with 12-13 pistols per card. AR and AK pistols are quite common, I know a few with AR10 pistols, know a couple with desert eagle L5’s etc. Outside of various nys compliant features bans and mag restrictions it’s much like free states in what you can have.
Rensselaer County where I am is pretty good as well. Buy gun, bring or mail receipt to Pistol Clerk,( yes we have one) sometimes if you bring it they will sign it immediately or worse case it’s a week at most. Go pick up gun. Not as quick as the pre-buy coupon counties but leaps and bounds better than the cesspool counties in the southern part of the state
