It's a very nicely refinished nickel. The nickel hammer and trigger gave it away to me it was refinished, and allowed me to get it at a much reduced price.I didn’t know that they made a Mod.14 in stainless , or is that Nickel?
aaah yes, now I see. I suppose if I had actually zoomed into the photo I would have noticed that it was Nickel. Nice piece none the less. It's a very nicely refinished nickel. The nickel hammer and trigger gave it away to me it was refinished, and allowed me to get it at a much reduced price.
Not to hate on Glocks, they make a fine Pistol, but they have no soul, style, or personality...The 1911 has hands down all those in Spades.
@S&W Fan won't be happy seeing that beauty in such dirty condition.Model 57. It's a pity ammo is pretty much unobtainable anymore.

I have a '79 Trooper MKIII that looks identical.Years ago I was fortunate enough to find the Colt Officers Model Match MKIII .38 Special. Colt only made 496 of them, 350 of which were exported to foreign markets. This one was someone's shooter. The only other one I've seen in the flesh was still in the box with papers, and was way out of my budget.

Very Nice ! One of my biggest regrets was selling my Model 41
So I'm on-line with Amoskega using a Lap Top computer as I'm watching items roll by the wife starts asking me pointless, bullshit questions about something I have zero interest in, but she's yapping and I'm listening all the while I'm hearing the "bing-bing-bing" going on, only to break contact, look at the auction and discovering that I was high bidder on a S&W model 41....SHIT! I didn't mean to do that...well I bid and won, so I paid for it, shipping, and dealer costs...turns out it was a mint specimen, in the box with papers, tools, and extra magazines...sold it for what I had in it at the Hamburg Show.Very Nice !
