This is the incident back to February where the guy had a knife and refused to put it down as he approached the cops

The cop was fired but has now been charged with manslaughter

IMO - a total disgrace

I know cops can’t go on strike ………but cops across all of Hartford need to do something here - this is outrageous

If I were anyone of the cops left on the force the next call like this my radio response would be I need back up before I’m en route. Send the inspector general, Ben Crump, and a social worker and I will follow.
Something doesn’t add up here or this is a massive leftist agenda.

This was in fact, a good shoot.

He will win in the criminal court.

He will sue the city.

He will probably do a bench trial, no jury. Judge decides 100% on the law. Many cops go this route

Seriously? Have you seen any videos of people being shot? It’s not like Hollywood where one shot and they drop and die. 9 shots is fine with me, as is 19 or 1900 shots to stop a bad guy from hurting others.

Nonsense. Theres no such things as "X number of shots are sufficient..". You shoot until the threat stops.

Tasers are a less lethal option for a less lethal threat. Dude is advancing on an officer with a deadly weapon in hand. Good shoot all day long. Woke DAs have their own agenda.

The DA is a moron and knows nothing. Next call like this then he should show up and handle it. The cops ought to stop worrying about these calls and tell them to screw off.

Video footage from that shootout is wild. You see the pistol rounds just bouncing off the body armor. Cops were going into gun shops and comandeering rifles ans ammo because their pistols and pump 12 gauges were useless.

The Miami one is where the FBI shot the guys a bunch of times but they kept going. Dudes were dead after the first shot, but not right away. It's the quintessential example of "killing him eventually doesn't matter, you need him stopped right now".
