I think war with china is inevitable

China won't be able to just surprise us with an emp. We have detection systems.

They've threatened Taiwan before. They like to sabre rattle.

They don't have many friend in Asia. If things popped off, you might be supirsed how many of those countries see it as an opportunity to throw off their oppressors, especially if they saw us entering the fight. I'm talking maybe even places like Vietnam...


China is something we need to be reticent of, but nothing to piss ourselves over.

It takes 2 to start a war. The American people don't want war and there are practically no vital interests that would lead us to war. America is pulling back from the world not expanding. We will sell arms and share intelligence with the people of Japan, Taiwan and India. But we won't go to war for them. Japan and Taiwan will be formidable opponents and the Chinese will suffer significant casualties. Hence the recent moves against India.

I agree to a certain extent. I think India would be a formidable opponent. They have America and British technology.
Just like WWII, the United States will try to stay out of it. I’m not sure that the US will be able to be an isolationist nation.
