What the hell is this world coming to? This has to be nearly double what this gun is worth.
Is this even real? $1,000 for a used glock.

You're right, that's about double what one would normally sell for. During these times, I feel some people are just casting the net and see what they catch. I routinely see 9mm now at $30/box, 3X what I was paying simply 12 months ago.

This is not just throwing a price at the wall. This is what this gun was bid up to. Lots of bidding too.

I just did a search for the sig365 and one gun for sale showed up. One gun. $599. These were going for $150 less not too long ago. The gander outdoors by me had them for 449 most times.

That's bonkers. They had these at Cabela's locally for the "normal" price of $1499 just last week. They had the 9mm a month ago for a bit less. I was really considering it. That's a sharp firearm

I know, I couldn’t pass it up. And it’s been worked on nicely. Beautiful blue. Right next to perfect Browning Hi-power, same previous owner. Clerk said wife angry, made him get rid of some guns. I doubt he got $1000 for the pair.

I've been window shopping for a 629 Classic. They were $750 - $850 a year ago. Most are over 1k now if you can find one. 5" seem to be the priciest for some reason
The panic is real.
People feel it in their bones what's coming and they are willing to pay a premium now to ensure they have their needs met because they know the opportunity may not be there in the near future
