Just Another Polymer Gun. (H&K P30L)

I picked up my H&K P30L yesterday. I took it out for a test drive, and brought my sister with.
As soon as she saw the gun she said, "its just another polymer gun".
Well duh.
After she fired a magazine she loved it. Her usual 10 inch group shrank to 4 inches. Her gears started turning when she found out there is a shorter one.
Ironically my Buffalo Bore ammo showed up just before we left for the woods. The 124 grain +P+ is a beast! The Spyderco Drunken accidently got in the picture.

Once you get a taste for that German Kool-Aid it's hard to go back...
I reload a lot, have the capabilities to make some brutal ammunition: that said, there are boxes of Tim Sundles finest in my guns and ammo cans.

The magazine release needs some getting used to. My thumb doesn't quite reach without turning the gun slightly, but my index finger gets it perfectly. I believe in time the index finger will be quicker than a regular thumb release. After my 10th magazine it was intuitive to drop the mag with my finger.

Oh, one more thing.
This 180 grain 10mm hits like a truck!! It disintegrates anything it hits.
I got a doe with it a couple years ago in my G20. I almost felt sorry for the deer!!

10mm is hands down my favorite cartridge, has been since '88
the original Norma load as 180gr @1,300fps and 200gr @ 1,200fps....serious business!
