Most people have said it's AI artificially zoomed in and enhanced footage. The original footage was taken from a distance and news outlets were likely using AI to zoom in and enhance it, when that happens AI tries to fill in the missing pixels with what it thinks belongs there.
Honestly, that explanation makes sense to me and why the guy looks like he has some ridiculous caricautrue of a rifle

I want to know where Left-Wing in the title came from at all. I can't find anything (and neither can ChatGPT) that says he's left-wing or anything about his politics or motive. Seems like a weird claim to make if there's no evidence of that. I'm not saying he isn't, just can't find anywhere saying anything about that.

I agree HEX, but in my limited experience, when big media omit's political slant it usually means lefty and on top of that, real lefty, like one of those he/she things. But I will wait confirmation dutifully. I don't like speculations.

I believe a majority of mass shooters off themselves as soon as they are confronted by armed resistance. If it's not an actual majority, it's a large minority.
Typically they do not intend to go to jail, and don't want to take any chances on being taken alive.

Just once I like to here from the mayor of the city or even the governor of the state where one of these atrocities occur to stand up before the cameras and state something to the effect, The corpse of this despicable scum bag will be strung up at the edge of the city til such a time as his rotting fetid body parts fall to the ground, whereupon inmates from our local penal institutions will gather such parts and haul them to a land fill where they will be unceremoniously dumped.
