I'm sure there was a meeting where a bunch of guys sat around brainstorming ideas.

One guy said "Lets pump out as many 870s, 1100s and 700s as we can as cheaply as we can with acceptable quality." And somebody else said "Lets try the plastic one again!"

Why? What does this gun do better than any of the other excellent offerings on the market today. If it doesn’t do anything better or offer something new, then why would anyone pick it?

Add to that it’s hideous and no one will buy it.

non of the new plastic guns bring much to the table there all pretty much the same so 1 has another round capacity or a different back strap or different stippiling they all pretty much operate the same way i maybe wrong but the last really new pistol that i recall was the beretta px storm with the rotating barrel for lock up. how many years ago was that.

That same argument can kind be made about most or all handguns for the last 80+ years

It can be sold by Remington.

That is what it can do that none of the others can.

That is what it can do, and that is why it's being brought back.

Note, that is the reason it's being sold. As for a reason to buy it, you've got me.

Damn!!!! Now I'm wanting one. I always liked tinkering with something to make it work as it should. Like I need another project!

Buy R51. Replace slide and barrel with Glock slide and barrel. Replace lower with Glock lower. Profit.
