No, Hillary lost because she was the most detestable person ever to run for office.

She was *proven* to have done far worse things with classified information. Did they raid her home ? No, they decided to not prosecute because they think she didn't mean any harm LOL.

How much would you be howling for blood if Trump had a secret email server in his bathroom at mar-a-lago for the express purpose of keeping communications "off book".

I would like to point out that an email server can get hacked, and probably was.

A box of documents in a safe guarded by the secret service cannot.

You seem to forget the fact that since he is no longer president the documents don't belong to him.

And why did he say they were declassified if they clearly were not?

What did he intend to do with the documents? Blackmail? Extortion? Sell to our enemies?

It’s crazy how people think copy’s are official documents. All official documents are now digital, digitally signed and digitally stored. Any document printed on paper is a copy. Unless it’s something like the big laws signed in the super sized folder for show and kept for the presidential museum.

What did she intend to do ? What possible legitimate reason would she have for conducting government business on an email server that wasn't subject to government control ?

"Blackmail? Extortion? Sell to our enemies?" Seriously ? I would assume they were an insurance policy in case people tried to frame him for *more* stuff. Probably held as proof that things *didn't* happen.


There are all sorts of reasons to retain physical documents you can access. But email works from anywhere.

What possible reason would he have had for *not* declassifying them ?

While it's true he no longer had that power once he left office, the documents were in his possession before he left.

"My term is ending, but I want to keep these documents as insurance in case they accuse me of impropriety. I won't be able to retain them if they're classified. Good thing I can fix that easily LOL".

This is correct the original documents can very well be declassified which start with the official digital source working copy.


The cover letter with “markings” means nothing once declassified. I can print one my self and stick it in a folder full of pieces of toliet paper. Keeping it on the original copy of the document is not a problem unless it is a printed working copy and those are not handed out in briefings.
