Use to see guys antagonizing Bass in spawn beds before season with a green Mr Twister lure. I think thats what it was called? it was a spinner type, looked JUST like this pic below, guy caught them one after another on it.

Damn water is so stained so far this season, cause all my resevouirs around here at over 100% and runoff is what it is..can't see 2 feet down to even know if there was a bed/nest under ya.

LOL, no, no, not you. I was commenting on what I seen a guy do once. There was guys Bullhead fishing, and some other guy was throwing Bass in trunk of his car, then flew off after like 15 minutes.

Rattle traps piss them off real good and you can catch some monsters. I did that when I was a kid at this overflow pond. It was fun.

Weird as hell story..
I lost that long orange fishing lure days and days ago, and today I got snagged down below with that white one. So I move the boat over to un-snag and lo and behold I brought up the lure that I lost days and days ago lol! It had no line on it or anything, just pure magic luck that it Hooked the lure on the bottom of the reservoir without being tangled in branches or line or anything! Now THAT is magically delicious!

Nice fish. One big perch there. I once went fishing with a friend and in one cast with a rapala he caught 2 bass. One on each hook. I was there and saw it or I would not believe it. He's also about the most honest man In The world.

When you get in to them through the ice the action can be FAST.
I use to use the small (maybe 18" pole) with a small bobber, small split shot tipped with a small minnow.

Yeah they are fun when ice fishing but I prefer summer season with small jig's or shiner's

I hit the Ashokan from shore like a week ago. No luck, not even a hit. The water was still high, so there wasn't much shore to fish from anyways. From what I've read it's been a slow start.

Yea that blows when it's high. The same my past 2 days here too. According to the DEC site, all the reservoirs are 100% or more even. Tomorrow's another day lol

Always lures. Mostly always catching them with hard jerkbaits and hard crankbaits. Never once used live bait I don't wanna have to touch it anyways hehehehheeheehehe
