And is it legal for food to be confiscated? Assuming it was only food and not food and weapons. Even then, still not legal.

If its being used in the commission of a crime - rioting, terrorism, looting, etc. - seems like fair game.

I agree with you but still not legal. It doesn’t belong to the government.

Imagine if a shipment of food was confiscated by the government sent to us by people in free states if we were doing the same in response to a new set of gun laws here in NY.

Was it confiscated and held or confiscated and distributed? I didn't watch the video yet.

Honestly, the only support that NYers should be getting from free states is financial help moving to free states. Since our salaries are higher, due to a higher cost of living, chances are it would be financially worth it to fund helping NYers leave NY and bringing their tax revenue to another state.
I'm sure Cuomo wouldn't take kindly to it. He'd be pist, but powerless to stop it.

This is Shay Mikalonis. He’s just a baby! He is 29 and fighting for his life, shot point blank in the head by a looter last night while simply doing his job as a Metro Officer. PLEASE hold him in your heart.
I honestly do not care where you sit in this debate at the moment. Everything about our nation's current situation is ugly and painful and raw and needs fixing. EVERYTHING. On all sides.
I am asking for THIS man, this moment. If you pray, do it. For him and all of us.

Tell that to the guy with the warehouse full of N95s that the government just straight up stole back when this started.
They will accuse you of hoarding it and then arrest you and take it, just like they did him.
I'll remind you that even people on this board were supportive of the government stealing his stuff, anything the government decides it needs it takes.

So.... Driver and passenger arrested. Vehicle and contents impounded.
If this happened on the Thruway, I'd say drugs were involved.
